At the forum said he thought Ince would be a good player even though he was signed injured .

    Ask the club’s ‘media’ ‘team’.

I personally don’t get all the hype about the outgoings, for me the best year recently for outgoings was when we got the financial burden of Deeney and Gray off the books, as well as Troy’s negative influence. Sarr was probably the only player close to that scenario, but he was in the last year of his contract so he was always going to be sold. Pedro was always going to go for the right price so we could balance the books, but will be a genuine loss for us and wasn’t lazy or a bad egg.

The rest of the outgoings were just a mixture of tired old crap that should’ve left years ago, and useless tat we should’ve never signed. Those outgoings were just correcting initial mistakes, I can’t really see the positives in them.

Overall I’d give the window a D-, any window when you sign Jake Livermore and Tom Ince is going to limit you to being a bang average Championship team, which is exactly what we were when Pozzo bought us.

And not sure most of those who left were negative influences tbh .

Kabasele was doing club commitments a week or so before !

Cleverley is still with the club and not sure Cathcart and Gosling aren’t anything but good pros coming to the end of their career .

Even Sarr probably wasn’t a bad egg as such - just not that bothered and moped around.

I mean were he and others dropped for discipline issues like Louza was ?

And the club pandered to him by letting him have more time off after the World Cup too

To appear balanced Twitter pro Pozzo posts always start “it’s clear money has been wasted to get us into this state and that needs answering but…….blah blah blah entitlement blah blah blah 3 year plan”.

And funnily enough there never follows any actual questions.

Pozzo is currently trying to put out the fire by occasionally p1ssing on it.

Whilst ignoring the advice of the fire brigade because he knows better and he’s only one piss away from putting the fire out and magically growing a 12 bedroom mansion from the remains.

Really bad mistakes/poor decisions have been made these few years.

If you or I had such a bad record in our jobs, we’d have been shown the door. The sad and harsh reality though is that GP and father put their hands in their pockets to buy the business, they can do as they please and aren’t accountable to anybody.

We are all but redundant, with our only real option being to do as the likes of the noble @Jumbolina have done and put their money where their mouths are (or not put their money, to be technically accurate).

Otherwise we may all rant and rave online to our heart’s content. It’s probably therapeutic but it’s ultimately fruitless. We are only arguing or debating among ourselves, not with those who have the power to change things.

The bottom line is, whether we like or dislike the owners, the coaches, the players, the formations, even the kits, we still have a football team and club to support and with huge reservations about the things I cannot control, I will be cheering them on at 3pm and no doubt moaning more on here with the rest of you at 5pm.

It will take more than a megalomaniac Italian, a group of hangers-on plundering salaries for actually making us worse or a team without a decent defensive midfielder to stop me doing that!

A bit like our team at present, our owners will not win. As has been seen by the pages of often excellent posts on here this past week, they will not suck the spirit out of us. We were here before them and we will be here after them. In the meantime I believe it’s about making the best of a bad situation and still trying to enjoy a hobby that makes daily life more fun.

By using hooks to pull large parts of the house down, a la London firefighters circa 1666.

It’s only when the tide goes out that you can see who’s swimming naked.

We’ve borrowed and spent poorly. Now borrowing costs are up and our assets have deteriorated, we need to cut our cloth accordingly.

I’d obviously prefer at this stage that a rich owner takes us over.

Otherwise, bar bringing in a player of ridiculous quality, the only way we’re getting out of this league is down.

I must admit I was envious as the scores rolled in today - seemed like a good team performance, entertaining and the likes I used to go and watch at Notts County away as Wayne Andrews scored a winner. I'm happy the travelling army finally were royally entertained - they deserve it. Maybe Ismael can thrive with his small squad - fingers crossed.
