So from what I have read on the net. Miquel Parera is a goalkeeper at Racing Santander in the Spanish second division valued at about 500k. We have a player on loan at Racing Santander Juergen Elitim who they want to keep but it is going to cost them 500k and it looks like a possible swap deal is on the cards.
This rumour was mentioned a month ago already: https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/transfer-talk-suggestions.54511/page-337#post-3236007 He doesn't seem to have any chance of getting a work permit, plus based on the stats reids posted he's crap.
According to the GBE Calculator, his case would go to an exceptions panel (with 11 points), so maybe a slim chance. Would hope we'd look elsewhere for a new goalkeeper anyway though.
11 points is 4 less than needed - have any clubs ever managed to get one with so few? I don't know on what grounds it could reasonably be appealed - it seems frivolous, as well as odd for a seemingly not very good player.
Whatever happened to Miquel Perera, Pacha Espina and Ethan Laidlaw? Whatever happened to all of the heroes? The Craig Shakespearos? They watched their Vic burn.
