I really, really wanted him to be good but the fundamentals are terrible. He's SO slow, turns like a ship and reads things slowly. Saying all that, I'd still much rather him than Kabasele to be honest, at least he's less traumatised.
My pre season optimism is evaporating like a puddle of milk. Bilic is hamstrung by a squad of players who lack motivation or confidence or both. And due to injuries he can’t make some kind of statement squad rotation, there is no one to rotate. We will limp into the mid season break in mid table now. My only hope is January allows us to properly refresh the squad for our late surge to the title. A man can dream.
Platypuses sweat milk from glands and it comes straight through their skin rather than out of a teat. But I guess you already knew that.
lol we are so bad, yesterday was quite funny in the end Wonder what odds you can get on 4 or 5 managers this season?
While I've heard that Gino's already in talks with the latter as a potential replacement, I must have completely missed the 3 training sessions the former took as interim HC after Edwards left. The whirlwind (pool?) that is WFC, eh?
One of them was me. My boy really did get caught watching Insidious rather than any rivers he usually would follow. He made the better choice by far.
Dear god I forgot we have Millwall between Norwich and the filth. This squad will thrive on a midweek trip to Millwall and a full-blooded derby game, after getting a beating from Norwich of course.
Why? Why is the answer to always 'give someone a go,' when all the evidence suggests that we just have poor options. The Hoskins Theory has surely been utterly debunked by now
Was Ron the one calling in from Florida ?? .... Good job for him that he wasn't in the part of Florida beset by the tornado and hurricanes there - then he would have been REALLY pissed off ... Re the fact that we've lost 2 games in a row and therefore Bilic's position is no doubt tenuous at best, isn't it about time we brought in QSF for a 3rd stint .... ??
Yes. You can almost feel him bleed through the airwaves. So many traumatized voices. The Spanish white hanky idea is a good. I have a plethora of white handkerchiefs if needs be.
I was looking at our results in the 2014/15 promotion season and Jokanavic lost 4 in a row at the start of his spell as manager. Wonder how he survived such a run of results ? I don’t think Bilic would now !
Yes I have, and Pollock is even more lead-footed than him. Kabasele was shattered for the last 20 minutes, Pollock is so slow it's as if he's already shattered at kick-off. And of course other players can be worse than him; there are loads of players who aren't even profesional standard, let alone bottom-half Championship level.
Ditto. I was shocked that any footballer would be so lazy. At first (TV view) I thought wow Kayembe looks awful, then realised it was Kabasele. He had 3 chances to put a foot in and then simply decided not to bother doing anything. I actually think he was thinking "oh well I've pushed him towards the byline so I assume my right back is currently steaming in to take him out" - and that probably sums up the team right now.. Its always somebody else's responsibility. We're an utter shambles of a club....
I've made Kabasele "tacking back and defending" the cross for their second goal as my Animated Desktop Screen Saver at work. I sit amongst a fellow hornet and Liverpool fan. Should make quite the convo starter when it kicks in.
Weird seeing as the USA isnt known for repairing infrastructure, quite the opposite really but that isnt usually their own.

I have now seen the second Blackpool goal again I cannot believe a professional player would actually give up. He is the captain at the moment, but to just stop trying and watch the Blackpool player cross the ball, it inexcusable. He would have been yank off had he been playing Sunday morning Division 7 on a public Park pitch. That passage of play should be shown on the big screen at the Vic during the warm up. Let Kabasele watch it and let's see if he has feelings of regret at pretending to be a professional footballer. Have things ever been so bad at Vicarage Road? Have a good week.
I sincerely hope Kabasele stopped running because he was out of gas and not because he couldn't be bothered. Should be straight to the bench just for that alone and play someone who has basic level of desire/fitness, whether that be Pollock or whoever else. The fact he is our captain makes it even worse. When have you seen a captain like that. Your captain should lead by example.
It’s what Kabs does. He just switches off in games. He has a habit of doing it. I don’t think he stopped running because he couldn’t be bothered. I think he did it because he thought there was another player coming over to cover. He didn’t check. He did the same thing against Rotherham. He just stopped and let a cross go over his head because he thought someone else would deal with it. In the Stoke game he was chasing a player and fell to the ground claiming to be punched in the face allowing a free shot at our goal. It’s inexplicable and is a clear sign that he doesn’t like to take responsibility in situations. It doesn’t make him a bad person, but he is a very flawed footballer.
Sorry, but Kabasele has a history of doing this. Decided to lay down on the edge of our box away at Muff in the Mazzari era which allowed them to equalise. He is a coward and should be nowhere near our team. I put WTF firmly in that category as well! Would rather us play Pollock or someone from the academy.
Pollock is so slow - even at Cheltenham they didn’t think he would be more than mid table league 1 standard at best due to his lack of pace. Other than that they thought highly of him
