Who do we beat though? I mean, where on earth do we see a win from? And even if we do somehow fluke one, how do we possibly get the 4 or 5 we need? This team can't win 2 more games all season.
Unfortunately, the know-it-all pundits (who are usually ignorant about Watford) are going to be proved right about Ranieri's appointment. Even worse than his disastrous time at Fulham. I would have preferred someone like Diego Martinez to have been appointed when Xisco was sacked, but I was prepared to give Ranieri the benefit of the doubt (especially with such a difficult run of fixtures at the start). I doubt that Diego Martinez would want the job now. It is probably too late for anyone to turn the situation around. The people in charge of the club also have to take responsibility for not addressing the defensive issues in the summer when all the supporters could clearly see the problems.
Gross mismanagement from the club yet again, thinking they're clever. He honestly might as well have been at AFCON. Subbed off at half time the first game can't remember that sh*t show, nothing against Newcastle, sent off today and going to miss Burnley anyway. Who the **** at the club lacks such emotional intelligence that they thought denying a man chance to represent his country would be beneficial? ******* idiots, I don't care if we found a legit loophole, it was just plain stupidity.
I don’t think i’ve ever been more disgusted in a footballer than Kucka, which is saying something given Troost Ekong has been a regular for us this season. Don’t want to ever see that racist and his **** tattoos bumbling around the pitch not giving a **** ever again. By no means is he on his own though. So many of the players on that pitch absolutely disgraced themselves today and didn’t seem to care that 20,000 people as well as millions watching on TV could see that they weren’t even attempting to make it look like they were trying.
We only have 14 points this year because the sides we have got points off are as ***** as we are and in the middle of having meltdowns. I noted last week all teams we've beaten have sacked a manager, but it also applies for Newcastle sacking Bruce. Every point we've got this season is because we played a team who were having a crisis.
Can we even clear 20 points this season? Absolutely nailed on to take the record for longest streak without a clean sheet off West Brom now.

Be fair, who really thought that with the lack of investment, zero planning, an inexperienced manager and a poor side for PL level that anything other than relegation would have been a miracle at the start of the season? Promotion/Relegation/Promotion was Gino's business plan. It could now be Promotion/Relegation/Freefall/ Liquidation. What this season has shown is that Gino, Duxbury and Watford FC learnt absolutely nothing from their previous time in the Premier League, nothing.. Ranieri could be gone by the you all wake up in the morning.
My kid was crying. I'd explained before about the GT tribute and the importance of the game and how we were to all get behind the team etc. Then she saw 15 millionaires **** on our club's history, disgrace the fans and the memory of GT. I tried to belittle it, but I was seething inside and she had understood the importance of the game in the context of the season and the prospects for the club. The thing is, it epitomises the problem. We all care too much and have no power. The people who have the power to change things care too little. And that's the underlying problem to nearly everything.
It was so laughably predictable it would go this way. I hope all the guffawing ******s on Twitter spaffing themselves about ‘Gino having a whole continent on strings lol ’ are embarrassed with themselves.

Fun fact! Out of the 245 teams in the top 7 tiers of English football, only 2 have failed to keep a clean sheet so far! Watford FC (18th in the Premier Legaue) and King's Lynn Town FC (22nd in the National League)!
We played ok in patches but not in the right areas, hardly troubling the keeper. But neither did they, in fact they had just two shots on target... Both their goals were close to being Var'd and we hit the bar and had a goal disallowed. You could argue we were unlucky. But you'd be blind to the problems that ooze from every pore of our yellow polyester. No clean sheet in 20 (twenty) games is appaling.
Despite the party line that Dennis chose not to go because of how he'd be used, there's a clear defining line: Dennis pre-ACON call up - scoring, assisting and terrifying defences and working his arse off Dennis post-ACON call up - looks like he gives zero *****, creates little, does the bare minimum and goes through the motions. Looks like once again the Pozzos have fuxked up with one of their players due to their insistence on always playing the loop hole or expecting to behave as if they have some special pass to be absolute ****s.
Another pathetic and expected defeat. It doesn't even hurt anymore. A goalie that saves almost nothing, claims almost nothing and is hideously out of his depth. Utterly laughable that he believes he should be first choice. Kabasele is still a thing in 2022. A selection of defenders bought for 40p that absolutely everybody but Pozzo & Duxbury can see are out of their depth. Sema is still a thing in 2022. A selection of midfielders (bar Kayembe perhaps) that simply cannot pass a football. Sissoko's passing for a 71 cap international is pitiful. Kucka and Cleverley are beyond help. The front three spent the entire game actively avoiding passing to eachother. Samuel Kalu you still have time to save yourself. It's all on Pozzo and Duxbury & I can't wait for them to go.
I’m say here thinking why am I coercing my 8yr old to support Watford when he’s already getting the piss taken out of him for being a Watford fan.
I want to say I'm upset. I want to say I'm disappointed. I want to say I'm angry. But I can't. I just don't feel anything for this team at the moment. I haven't felt such a disconnect between a team than I have this one. We are going down without a whimper nor an identity. Don't feed the trolls, report them and we will ban them.
I guess it depends what you want from your provencial community based club. I'm not bothered by the so called glamour of the new and improved Sky obsessed epl. I'm much happier with a sustainable community family etc club which exists for the benefit of its fans and locality rather than some speculators from elsewhere who say the club as an investment. Look on the bright side guys, at least we know we're down now. No need to spend time watching any more. Think of the things we can do with the free time... Learn Spanish, take up painting. Maybe an Open University course. If anything they've done us a favour. Thank you Gino!
