I feel a bit sorry for Cathcart tonight. He has some positional sense and poise under the constant pressure. Kiko,yet again is sucked into the middle and WTF,well I actually believe we'd be better off having ten men than him. Lamentably out of his depth but I think he would be in a puddle. Poor chap.
Nothing between the two really, Cathcart was at fault for both goals and WTE was at fault for the second and their nearly scoring a third. Even one of Sierralta or Nkoulou returning can't come soon enough.
Bachmann could have done better for the 2nd goal, but I'll forgive him that one because he has practically single handedly kept us in this game with his otherwise brilliant performance. As for our so called defenders, WTE and Rose have been absolutely woeful, Kiko has not been much better and Cathcart has been so exposed that he too has not covered himself in glory. The only plus from this game so far is that our friend Kevin Friend is not refereeing the game. Having said that his replacement has been carding our players right left and centre, and he did not card the city defender who clearly hacked our player down on the left side just outside the area. Plus there was a clear pass back by city that he did not blow up for Back to watching the game and lets hope we can at least keep the score down to a reasonable level.
Fact is none of them should be starting. Rose has gone physically and mentally,Kafka is too slow but is at least fit. Kiko is just not a defender and Just William is ...
On the replays I’m not sure he could do much. The angle wasn’t that tight and if he covers the near post I’m pretty sure Silva puts it in at the far post instead. He had all the time in the world.
Could have been a lot worse. Nice performance and goal from Cucho. Poor from Dennis today,too selfish but he's allowed that. Have to play Ngakia and send Rose to boot camp or anywhere really! Sissoko in contrast to Rose is immense. Is Kabasele that bad that he doesn't replace WTF? I can't believe he's deteriorated that much.
Well that's that out of the way. Strangely not bothered about it. The real nerves start now. We simply need to get results in the next two. That's what will determine the direction of our season not today. Nice goal from Cucho. Hope that gives him some confidence going forward
I'm chuffed with that second half. Other Watford teams would have crumbled and given up but Ranieri has got this side to believe in itself a bit.
Obviously they’re light years ahead of us, yet it’s not inconceivable that if you replace WTE and Rose with players that actually cost money, even something like £5m each, then we actually get something out of that. Cucho was excellent.
Horrific defending. To the point of being unbearable. Could have been 6-0 down at HT. Hope it doesn’t get forgotten because of the drive and determination of Cucho.
City defensively awful and showing why they will never win a CL under the cashmere wearing sociopath.
What more is there to say - attack incredibly promising and our young wonderbois a delight to watch, Sissoko the adult in the room and incredibly classy, defence fuccking utterly rancid. Rose, of course, deserves a special level of opprobrium - he should never get on any pitch ever again. A disgraceful sojourn here from start to finish, marked by astonishing unprofessionalism. As I predicted a few hours ago, though, it was a routine loss, but overall it was one of the least embarrassing we've had against these scumbags ever, and that's down to Papa as much as anything. Once again we've shown potential to really be ok and survive/thrive in this league, if we can somehow overcome our disgusting defensive lineup and recruitment. Brentford on Friday is such an important game.
Love the effort from all the players aside from WTF and Rose. Need to bin Rose for Ngakia and find some defenders in January. Bachmann was immense, Kiko played well. Sissoko was enormous and Cucho showed great skill and spirit. If we keep playing like this we will be safe. Abu Dhabi tedious to watch. Rinse and repeat boring from the bald fraud. We’ve got through this run without being in the relegation zone and despite the way it looks on the form table and in the treatment room, Ranieri has managed to forge some sort of style and togetherness out of this team and so I’m quietly optimistic. We just can’t afford many more Southampton home performances and need to really get at the teams we have coming up before the turn of the year. Need 10pts from the next 6 games.
Conceded enough chances to lose by 7 or 8, credit Bachmann with some heroics. Thay said, we actually looked ok in spells and we look a side who against more equal opposition will create chances and goals. Also never play Rose again.

Could have been better. Could have smashed a few of their oiks up. If Foden was not playing football he would be a definite Moss Side criminal. Looks exactly like one. A face only a mother (Grendels) could love.
A respectable loss. Showed some spirit 2nd half instead of wilting which bodes well for the important fixtures coming up.
