Oh god. Ranieri may be able to perform miracles but winning a PL with Leicester is far easier than making Jon Moss a competent referee. How is he supposed to keep up with Sarr, Dennis, Mane and Salah?
For a short time but the record company had a lot of work promoting "Shyte Spice" and he was quickly dropped (cf Davina McCall). I once went to a publishing 'thing' involving Michelle Stephenson. She struck me as a real 'character' and there was quite a lot of interest in what she was selling: she was Posh's (the Beckhams took out an injunction against Popbitch to stop them referring to them as 'Thick and Thin') room mate. Posh used to spend all her time in front of a mirror perfecting 'that pout' (no, me neither) and of the famous Man Utd party - she actually went with the aim of ensnaring Ryan Giggs and was quite disappointed with what she pulled that night...
I know you won’t agree but I consider Moss and Atwell to be simply incompetent, whereas Styles and Milford, if not malicious, seemed to delight in sticking their oar in to be disruptive.
Jon Moss has been in training this week limping around a centre circle in his back garden. Expect some early penalties to the Salah and his Red Machine mates as they tumble in the box and Moss whistles from 100m away. The well-honed athlete and his blind VAR friend Attwell, have promised to "give it 100%" on Saturday. "J*rgen should be pleasantly surprised this time. True, we've let him down in the past but that won't happen again", said the experienced ref as he whistled his favourite tune, You'll Never Walk Alone.
Pretty much what I envisage. A Salah rag doll tumble under minimal contact. Moss gives a penalty from 30 yards away. Atwel won’t see enough evidence for clear error and everyone’s a winner.
Ironically, the Scousers are devastated he's in charge as they're sure that'll result in all decisions going against them!
I'm coming up for this one, flippin early start. When I return from the 5-0 drubbing, I will have my in-laws waiting for me at home. Long day for the Hornets and Mazz.
Positive news regarding King. He returned to training today, and will be assessed ahead of the Liverpool match. Team News: Watford v Liverpool - Watford FC
It's not worth risking him if they're not sure he's fit enough. Aim should be to have him at full tilt for Southampton in a fortnight.
I find it interesting that we're rehabbing Etebo, rather than, as a loanee, him going back to his parent club. It must be some mix of us hoping to stay up and, as such, seeing him as a likely signing and fully 'our' player, and perhaps Stoke thinking we have better facilities/medicinal access (though if they do they must be smoking some good stuff). If it all comes off, we do stay up, and he returns, it will be a worthwhile move, for sure.
I wonder if he has ever gone back to Stoke ?! Agree about King. No need to really risk him now. BTW looks like one of those “injured” Liverpool played will be fit. https://mobile.twitter.com/TheAthleticUK/status/1448243906458624003
I'm just hoping I don't get kicked out of the pub like the last Liverpool match at the Vic. The Norwegian Liverpool fans have taken over a pub here in Bergen and quite frankly it's a fookin embarrassment. So I will be adorning my shirt and annoying the **** out of all of them. Got a Wet Spam and Gooner who will be honourable Hornets for the 90+ minutes just for the fun of it.
Glad TAA is fit for Liverpool. I'm sure he'll smash in a free kick now but he's a horrific defender. Any joy we're going to have will be getting down the sides behind their full backs.
Agreed. We shouldn't be afraid to go a little longer and hit the wide balls in behind their fullbacks as the do push very high.
The one opposite the harbour? I was in there when we beat Bournemouth 3-0 under Pearson and the heaviest rain I’ve ever seen was falling outside!
I think it's more of a case of them not seeing him as their player anymore, if Andre Gray got a serious injury, would we be bothered to rehab him, or would we tell QPR to do one?
Isn't Bergen the rainiest city in Europe or something? Think I heard that somewhere, but I may have got it wrong!
Well, King is back a lot quicker than I expected/feared, though I agree, I wouldn't risk him (I'd like to finally get a serious look at JP and/or Cucho in the Prem)
Ranieri has confirmed Nkoulou needs three weeks before he's considered ready, so it will be WTE and Cathcart, with no replacement from the bench if either get an injury. Great stuff.
He probably genuinely is our third best CB option at the moment! Other than that, I think I heard Kucka can play CB lol, though I don't want to give anyone any ideas!
By which time he'll decide he wants to play for Cameroon again, go away on international duty and get injured. FFS Gino!
We're clearly going to use Masina as CB cover which means an injury to Rose is just around the corner. Masina then starts as left back whilst also providing CB cover, so when Cathcart gets injured Masina moves into the middle and Sema fills in at left back. This squad planning from Gino is truly impressive, he's got all bases covered.
