Lots of Liverpool supporters begging the club to buy Sarr on twitter

This weekend Watford cruised to a 3-1 victory. Ismaila Sarr was a standout performer against Norwich, grabbing two impressive goals.

Liverpool fans have reacted as expected, they want him in now. Though – his arrival wouldn’t solve our AFCON issue. (meanimg theirs)

Watford Sarr is a[IMG][IMG]player. LFC were interested in him last 2 summers. They should nake it 3rd summer 2022 lucky and buy him. Ideal replace in time for his fellow countryman Mane when it time to move on in the future.

Sarr’s a smashing player. Wanted him before he went to Watford. Afcon is only downside but I’d love us to sign him

Would love to see us sign Sarr from Watford. Looks like such a Liverpool player and still very young at 23

i want ismaila sarr at liverpool

Said it before and I will say it again, Ismaila Sarr is some player would love him at Liverpool

All you need to do is no how your woman works. Show a little interest in how much effort they put into getting themselves ready and simply just ask.
We have just come back from Spain so i threw in a hint that it's possibly not long left to show off her tan. She tried on 3 or 4 outfits and I said wow you look ******* amazing. That's it. It's worked for me since we've been together. It's not rocket science.

I know he will leave us for a big club eventually (next summer) , but please god not Liverpool , hopefully he will go to to PSG / Barcelona.

Barcelona won't be able to afford him and PSG would just be a nice graveyard for him, like any other attacker who isn't already a known galactico-level talent.

I think he was OK, yeah. Logically the appalling quality of the opposition has to be taken into account, but it was a decent enough 6/10 performance. He did what Cleverley does - work hard.

Do I think that suddenly means he's good enought to start against proper Premier League sides? Absolutely not.

I do appreciate that your schtick here is being purposefully obtuse in pretending you don't understand the meaning behind what Nath is claiming about Cleverley and his game, but even s0; please, do go on and share the benefit of your basic knowledge - outside of the 'hard working' attributes that Cleverley displays, what are the other footballing aspects of the way he plays that make up that fabled skill set that he's adding it to (outside the obviously-taken-as-standard literal ability to manipulate a spherical object to the degree of a professional footballer)?

Hard work is what has got every professional player where they are.
Perhaps you could explain to everyone else , without the word salad, who the "lazy" players
were against Norwich but still performed ?

He breaks up play and is always available for an "out" ball and keeps the ball moving when our team is in possession.

Who are these players that don't give 100% ?

    I can wait ...?

  26. Chumlax

    Chumlax Squad Player

Wait as long as you like for an answer to a question you invented as a method of purposefully misconstruing a point Nath was making, based on a suggestion no one else has made.

That being said, as a Watford fan the apparent mental block you have at the general idea of a player giving less than 100% is also difficult to understand.

(Apologies if this comment has too many vitamins for you)

I think Cleverley is better on the ball than people give him credit for. Not quite at Kiko or JP's level but I certainly don't expect him to take a horrendous touch or misplace a pass when he's in possession. Just let him run around, provide support for the forwards and keep him away from corners. I don't understand the hate for the guy.

What on Earth are you banging on about ?

Anywho .. who are these players that give less than 100% ?
Cos that is all that Cleverly gives
Even a wordsmith like you can understand this ? No ?

  29. Chumlax

If you're genuinely saying that you believe that no player in football gives less than 100% at any point in any game in their professional career, then I've got a bridge you might be interested in taking a look at, at a very reasonable price.

Regardless, that's still irrelevant, because, again, no one other than you, least of all Nath, has claimed in here that Cleverley gave 100% in the game against Norwich whilst others did not.

If you really don't understand, search either your brain or google for any time ever that a pundit, journalist, or even fan has described a player as 'hard-working', and there's a revelation in it for you.

I've sat down today and watched the entire match on Sky. I rarely do this, as I get a bit bored watching a game in full when I know the result, but this game was really entertaining.

I know it was only Norwich, so we do have to take that into consideration, but the level of performance was excellent. Norwich had a couple of spells, notably after half time and after we scored the second goal, but they rarely threatened even when they had good possession.

How good is Danny Rose? Wow, Danny De Bruyne more like. His passing was top drawer. If he continues at that level then he'll be a huge asset to us. Great to see Kiko back too, and it was like he'd never been away. His movement, passing and interchange with Sarr was again at a very high level. When are full backs are playing this well, we'll give all teams problems.....including the big boys.

This was King's best game for us, but I would still like to see more from him and I think there is a lot more to come.

Clevs was really good too. His interceptions, hard work and clever passing were vital. Sissoko and Kucha provided the muscle and Norwich really struggled against that physicality in the middle of the park. Dennis, he's a little in and out of games, but when he's in, he's really on it. A brilliant headed goal, but should have probably scored from that great Sarr low cross.

Talking of Sarr, he was at his best, and when he's like that, Watford usually do very well. He was popping up everywhere causing mayhem. The weird thing is, I think he still plays well within himself, as if he's a little shy to express himself. There is a far greater player to develop and while he's with us, it'll be great to see this talent nurture.

I thought WTE was a lot better, and maybe he's getting there. Looks far better when we're not ******* about with it at the back. As much as we love Cathcart, I really think his time is up for playing at this level. He was a little slow and ponderous, easy to push the ball past and this is how their goal came about. Foster wasn't great in that situation either, but when you're left exposed like that 1 v 1, you know the defence has let you down. Apart from the goal Foster was great. There were a couple of moments Norwich crossed the ball in. Foster came and collected it, and it was a nothing moment. I couldn't help thinking Bachmann would have stood on his line and left it up to the CB's to deal with the cross, which could create problems. It makes so much difference when your keeper takes the pressure off by doing this.

Well done to Xisco also. This was probably one of his last games had we lost it, and just as we did against Bristol City last season, he came back with a game plan that turned the pressure on its head. Plenty of fans were moaning about the team selection before the game, but he had the last laugh on that.

Listen . Even keyboard warrior/pub bore can understand that someone who earns a lot more money than them has not achieved this by being lazy.
    Anywho .
Who were the Watford players on Saturday against Norwich who performed to an acceptable standard who gave less than 100%?
How many more times do I have to ask this question ?

There's literally no way you're still asking that genuinely, or claiming that you actually believe that's what was being asserted. Read any of my responses so far and you'll both see why and have your answer.
