    Just watched the highlights.

Sarr turned up, therefore we were 50 x more dangerous than when he doesn’t.

Thought him and Dennis both went missing at points in the game but the highlights made them look like they terrorised the defenders. Can’t argue with the outcome.

Special mention to King because I still think he will come good and must be feeling the pressure with the lack of goals or assists to this point.

A weirdly good game from Troost. I finally saw glimpses of a competent player at the back today despite his distribution still being dodgy.

Rose an obvious step up from Masina now.

Even Clevs looked happier in his favoured role against the worst team in the league.

Agree he must have been but he did get one and a half assists today, so he's probably cool with that part, at least.

Norwich were hopeless. Cleverley was great, as was Rose. Femenia makes a big difference and provides decent crosses. King was very good and will get his goal soon. Sarr was brilliant when he finally got going in the second half.

A truly brilliant away day, the away end was bouncing all afternoon.

    Sarr superb.

    Cleverley effective.

    Cathcart broken.

Our front 3 are really good, and we’ll score goals against anybody who gives us space on the counter.

To be totally fair, half the posters on that thread are actually rejecting the claims of conspiracy and pointing out that we had a peno shout too/they were second best overall, etc etc.

We don’t need to worry about King scoring,we just need him to carry on doing the ‘deeney’role which he is very good at.

Won't always work, but the sh*thousery combo of Sissoko and Kuko is magnificent.

I actually think both have a lot more to give once they get up to speed.

Etebo has his uses but his distribution as the only holding midfielder leaves us lacking going forward.

Corr what a great away day that was. First half was very nervy, the team looked lost at times with no real attacking purpose. Thought King looked crap the first half but turned into a completely different player the second half. Was glad to eat my words on him. Dennis is a class player, full of running and a good attacking brain on him. Sarr was imperious and cleverly was at his industrious best. Cathcart was caught out a fair few times by fairly mundane balls and should be down the pecking order. Foster looks a better bet at this level, Bachmann is just too rooted for the defence.

Norwich weren't up to much yet still caused us problems. Their goal sprung from a lovely ball from Normann who looks a decent player with a good finish by Pukki. Norwich will go down and deserve to for the god awful goal music. Tinpot.

Need a positive result against Newcastle otherwise we are in the ****.

Let's not forget the foul we had later on in the 2nd half in the box as well. For me, both were penalties so it balanced out.

Seems one or two think the BBC and MOTD are anti Norwich and don’t like them.

Well they have lost 16 PL in a row !

Hardly going to get Gary and co glowing in praise on that form.

In all fairness they spoke about how well we played mainly.

Hopefully they won’t need to wait 3 weeks to do that again.

He got two assists didn't he? I know he's not scored yet but that shows he's getting involved.

We should be happy If we are going to score 3 goals in 40% of our games and win them, and none in the other 60%!, we will end up on 45 points happy days!

Yup, there's nothing wrong with the Deeney role, as long as Deeney isn't the player doing it

Norwich are OK at home. They'll probably create half chances against most sides - but they wont score many of them and are porous at the back.

I didnt see anything of the game yesterday but I think its fair to say we had a bit more class in important areas.

I also didnt see any major goof from Cathcart or Foster for their goal. It was simply a one touch pass over the top that caught the whole defence on the wrong foot and Foster didn't do his usual trick of coming out, bringing the forward down and giving away a penalty.

He gives me more confidence than Bachmann.

King is doing all the right things, the goals will come and let’s face it the ‘goals from open play in the PL from a Watford forward’ bar hasn’t been set particularly high in recent seasons has it?

I don’t really care much who we beat. How we beat them. Who plays for us. Who doesn’t. Who we sub on and off. What the experts make of our performance. Etc. All I care about is winning. Winning matches in the PL is the best feeling ever. Waking up the morning after feeling happy. Seeing the table and us not being near the bottom. Can never get enough of this. Winning matches. Get in.

Me too. I was always hopeful that Bachmann turn out to be good enough when the time came. He did will last season, but from what I've seen of him so far in the Prem, he isn't quite up to it.

You can only beat what’s in front of you, although we have had the upper hand over Norwich in the last couple of years their supporters would have been feeling “ this is our best chance to get points on the board “ , they must be absolutely gutted as usual they got none! Derby’s record low could be staring them in the face, us on the other hand did what we have to do on other away days which is believe in ourselves and bring home the points!

We have sussed out how to beat Norwich we now have to do it against the likes of Newcastle, Palace, Burnley etc with a few unexpected points of the better teams and we will be fine! It’s not easy but it’s certainly doable!

    Credit also to Xisco yesterday.

he brought Sema on when we needed him. Rose was absolutely blowing near the end so strengthening that side made sense and helped kill game off.

What a great day out. Sarr is great just wish he would be more direct more often. Still a few times yesterday where he could have been more direct

Probably helped Sarr he wasn’t basically marked out of the game and given space /time to run.

Sarr was always going to play well in this, Norwich played right into his hands. Have to try and find a way to get him into games when the opposition defence isn't so leaky. Barring one mistake at the back which went unpunished and a dodgy pass out of play, I thought WTE was great, obviously only against Norwich, but we needed a good game from him because Cathcart wasn't on form at all. Rose didn't look fit, got caught out a fair few times at the back, but was good going the other way, a lovely ball for Sarr at the end of the first half which should have been buried. Clev was great, we let him do his thing of harrying them, while not giving him too much responsibility on the ball, and it worked a treat

Great day out. The midfield three look pretty efficient to me. So if we have better to come into the side thats great news. Danny Rose shows what a proper premier league footballer can do when playing the ball out of defence. The front three can only get better with time together on the pitch. As others said last week taking King off was a bad mistake against Wolves.

To the group of young people who kept us entertained on the train up. Apologies for only predicting a 1-1, hope you had a great evening after the victory, (the old couple who helped with the little spill of your drink on the train).

Very nervous watching that game; we really needed to win it.
It would be silly trying to take Man of the Match away from Sarr, but I think the player whose performance pleased me most was Dennis. That first goal was goal of the season so far, for me. Yes, I remember Cucho's, which was a 'Worldy', but Dennis' had the promise of a sort of goal we have been lacking for years and could conceivably be replicated each match.
Kiko makes a difference to us going forward; his teamwork with Sarr will be venerated in hushed voices by our grandchildren. Possibly.
Cathcart has played alright at right back for a couple of games, but, strangely in his favoured position, I thought he was poor in this one. Nowhere near Pukki for their goal. Pukki is a decent player, but not that special or quick. On CG's overall showing there should be very special reasons why Sierrialta or Kabasele are not picked ahead of him.
Apparently some Norwich supporters are down on Krul. I thought he was their MotMatch.
