Hopefully he had the foresight to base himself in an Amber or Green country for the past 10 days. If he's come direct from Turkey to the UK it's hotel quarantine for 10 days - vaccine or not. Unless football clubs have an exemption?

Lets hope this guy is as good as some are claiming, if he is he sounds like a brilliant signing, but when it comes to WFC the jury always has to be out because of frequent passed experiences

    A very Turkish midfield:

    Etebo - Galatasaray
    Kucka - Trabzonspor
    Ozan - Fenerbahce

I hope they put their rivalries aside...and if they haven't, can they turn the fight into a movie?

Quite a coup. Looking like we could have some decent options in the middle which was sorely lacking.
Just hoping the CB from Torino is next.

Blimey. And what do hotels have? Massive big breakfast buffets.

They’ll have to crowbar him out of the front door.

That photo of him on the right....terrifies me.

But let's hope our scouts knew what they were on.

I'm 73 kg, 180 cm. But then again, I don't play for a PL side! Anyway, welcome Ozan, hopefully you smash it and come good.

The ‘Pozzo model’ saw Turkey at the Euros and thought ‘We’ll have a bit of that thanks! An untapped source of complete tat.’

Great signing. I can't imagine Hughes getting back into this team even if he wants to stay.

Much wailing and gnashing of teeth as Fenerbahce retire Tufan's final match-worn shirt...

    upload_2021-8-19_11-27-9.jpeg

Bit of respect for our Turkish compatriots as we give a big (massive, huge!) Watford welcome to this week's new heavyweight midfield destroyer!

Looks like a really really good signing.
Worse case is depth and clearly better then our current depth options
Best case is he can score goals from midfield which I think in a middle 3 could be lacking.
Has plenty of experience and the monetary side of the deal looks great.
Definitely the end of ATLEAST one of Hughes / chalobah if not both.
For all the **** pozzo get on the transfer policy in recent years it seems they’ve done really well thus far

Doing a bit of research on Tufan and have discovered he has played at right back 7 times over the past couple of seasons, so he would be an option if we're short to cover a Kiko injury.

Unbelievably positive from Turkish fans on twitter. Nearly all saying look after him, give him some love and he'll shine.

    Welcome to Watford.

Look's like we cannot stop getting one over Palarse as of late. Seems he will be a good fit, and obviously a replacement for Hughes. I really want Chalobah to stay mind. Can we offer Gray to Palarse for 10M? Coup some of that 18M back.

Kin’ell, we knew he was a little on the large side, but if that’s his shirt he’s a whopper and a half.

Turkish lad here! I don't support Fenerbah*e, but I'm a supporter of their biggest rival, Galatasaray, and have seen Tufan play against us and other teams several times. He's an engine when he is fit, his dribbling ability is pretty good and he is very versatile. I have seen various coaches play him in different positions, and he's done well in most of them. He doesn't leave his team alone defensively, and can score bangers from distance from time to time. I think you've done a great signing and he will be perfect for you if he settles in. Should he adapt to the pace of the premier league, you've got a great baller that you will probably buy! If not, it's a loan, so you're not risking anything anyway :)

Good luck on the season guys!

Also, feel free to ask any questions. I'll be happy to answer :)
