His last action was the "play on" trip that ended with Cucho scoring wasn't it? That was a nothing challenge. Didn't limp off or anything. Praying this is misinformation.
Me too, I assumed he would be coming off at 3-0 as the game was relatively 'safe' and he was on a booking.
Well hopefully they are wrong this time. I am dubious about this rumour to be honest but we shall see.
Terrible news. "3 months", but in the hands of our medical team he will be lucky to play again. He was the absolute heartbeat of the team on Saturday.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching him on the pitch last game. Would be a shame if we had to wait 3+ months to see that again.
Gutting if true Sounds like the Turkish lad is inbound imminently as another body in centre mid at least I hope Xisco is brave enough to go with Louza ahead of Gosling in the interim
Firstly, what a terrible shame for him if true, having just moved to a new country to start the next phase of his career. Secondly, what a massive blow for us if true. Avoiding injuries will be so key in our hopes of staying up this season, and things don’t appear to have started well in this regard. Keep your eyes on developments regarding the forthcoming international break too. Not only could Sierralta be a doubt for the Wolves match straight after, but I’m hearing now there are concerns too about our Nigerian trio. One of their internationals next month is in a country currently on our red list, and theoretically all three players could face ten days quarantine on their return. That’s if all three travel away during the break, and if the authorities don’t come to some sort of compromise. Wolves btw would probably be missing Jimenez.
I suppose injuries are inevitable at the stage of his career he’s at. It would be a tremendous shame if his fitness and strength are affected while he’s unable to train properly.
Why? So we can instead gain the privilege of utilising Andre Gray or Isaac Success for another few months?
Honestly feel like we're ****ed with this news. Don't wanna be dramatic or anything. Looked a different team after he came off on Saturday.
Perhaps he did not take the knee because he had a bad knee, or perhaps if he did take the knee then it would have been stretched and no injury would have happend? Anyway, my new fave player is out, sad times.
Oh dear - just our luck ! And with our medial record 3 months is usually the least worse case situation.
I’d imagine this is true as it would be a bit of a weird rumour to make up. Transfer news I can just about understand as it will get clicks - but injury news about Kucka is hardly worth making up. A big blow - hopefully the club step up their recruitment in this area as a result. Or perhaps loosen their stance on Hughes/Chalobah. I just hope it doesn’t mean we abandon any move for a CB to use funds elsewhere. I hope even more that it doesn’t mean regular game time for Gosling. Wonder if we can recall Zinckernagel so soon?!
Yesterday the official twitter posted a highlights video of his game. Im hoping thats not the sort of thing they would do if he was going to be out for 3 months.
