True, but how to get rid of him? Even if we let him go for free (which I can't see happening), he's on a big fat contract so he's not going to go anywhere unless someone else is prepared to match it, and nobody with more than a couple of brain cells is gonna do that. Unless we are prepared to pay him off we're stuck with him 'till his contract's up I fear.
Good point about the weights. Lots of players seem to make the same mistake these days. They bulk up on the weights and lose their speed and mobility.
Utter disgrace. Completely collapsed. Total arrogance and complacency from a club which has this lack of concentration running deeply through its veins. Our squad is rotten beneath the top 5-6 players and needs completely overhauling. A welcome bump back down to earth for a club and it's supporters, who thought that a 10 game decent run of form, somehow overwrites a majority of a season of flat, lifeless and turgid football. It's good we're going up but there's still much wrong with this club and this rotten squad.
That’s the reason you can guarantee Xi Jinping has a nuke aimed at the Vic for whenever the need arises to attack the UK.
Perhaps it was all a bit of product placement/tie-in/sponsorship for this outfit. I would have thought that a big cigar would be a bit too much of a step up for powder-puff striker Andre.
Tbf, if we hadn't beaten Millwall, we would have put our first team out today. Today's lineup would finish lower-mid-table in the championship and only a Hughes injury away from League 1!
Tried to care that we lost , just couldn’t manage it. on the bright side we have at least proved that Gray and Success are not a replacement for Sarr and JP
The fact we paid a combined £30m for Gray and Success gives me every confidence we will spend wisely on a new striker this window.
These are the type 'premier league players' that other champ sides think have given us an advantage, by swallowing up the lion's share of our parachute money in wages to contribute 3 goals between them. Deeney as well.
I've tried to be a clapper as long as I possibly can, but everyone has a limit. Sure, we played our second string and picked up a few early injuries, but to be outplayed by a team in the division below us is embarrassing. They're in the Championship FFS. We've not only damaged our own reputation, but also that of the best league in the world (TM). F***ing shameful.
Perica will be retained. He's hardly played and done more than Sinclair, Gray and Success over the whole season, which really isn't saying much.
“Wow.. We beat the best Premier league team ever. Was really worried when a Premier league team, like Watford, were coming to BCS. Well done lads.” Finally a humble Brentford fan. Well done Ladbroke for knowing your place.
