The two times he got the ball on the RW he lost it, so. Also, our staff really can't fancy him out there if they'd rather stick him behind the striker and Success at RW, as opposed to vice-versa. Let's face it, the idea that he'd be any better for us on the wing is just a myth, I just don't think he has either the pace or strength for it at this level and he seems more comfortable drifting inside where he finds it easier to pick up pockets of space unmarked. Either way unless something kicks into gear with him over the summer he shouldn't be used next season much anywhere anyway.
Muani, Toure and Baah have great potential. But of them only Muani has experience of senior football at a high level. We desperately need to find a LW and another CF otherwise given how strike forces in the PL are we cannot rely anymore on clean sheets to get us points because we will not get them.
That chance he effed up in the 2nd half has probably extinguished even the faintest embers of Brentford remotely thinking about him.
True maybe they will take £20m instead and that will help pay their new ground which will be a noose for a championship team
Yes, let's judge Zinckernagel after a good rest and a proper pre-season. He's often looked half-shot.
Even the decisions weren’t with us today. What did LeeMason see when he gave that penalty? He fecking fell over in the box . Sympathy decision to get Toney his 30th.
Just waiting for how didn't we finish above Watford posts on social media platforms by Brentford fans, with no acknowledgement that we are already up and our season is finished and we played without Sarr, Kiko, Chalobah, Troost-Ekong, Jao Pedro and Cleverley went off early thats arguably 6 of our most important players and we had a bench of fringe players and under 23's.
Pochettino did get a run-out and looked comfortably our worst player, which is some going. Still young of course, but he might be lucky to get regular games on loan in League Two next season.
You and others are not understanding my posts again. I said he deserves to start the last 2 not important games. I said nothing about his future with us. And quite rightly he was praised for his recent goals on this forum. Regards Manatleisure
Forgot about Sinclair. 3 goals out in Bulgaria, could he be our fox in the box? I hope the club are extending his contract.
Sorry but don’t agree with this at all - you want to go into the playoffs with momentum behind you; not surprised they chose a strong line up.
Who cares? We won't even remember we played this game in 3 months time. One thing that has struck me over the last few weeks though and not helped by today's viewing, Zinkernagel strikes me as someone with a real attitude problem. I can imagine him downing tools next season as soon as things aren't going our way or there's another fall out with the manager.
Keep both. Kabasele is clearly better than Wilmot at the moment. In an ideal world Wilmot could do with a loan next season
Hes definitely good enough to play in games that dont matter. Especially as he has played in some games that did matter.
Bottleford fans however have the runs. Imagine the hysteria on the forum. If only this, if only that. Tiddums.
44 years of hatred and anger towards us lovely lads of this leafy corner of Hertfordshire. Suppose they must have something to do as there isn't much else to do down there other than getting drunk.
Thank you Milton. Been on here for a few months now so thought I’d better post something. On a side note isn’t Gray ****?!
A useful reminder to those who make the decisions that a lot of work needs doing in the forward areas. Even though we've been promoted, it cannot go unnoticed how pathetic we were only the road. Only 19 goals in 23 games, for a side that finished 2nd, is truly amazing. That will only get worse in the Premier League and our lack of threat needs to be addressed in the window. Hopefully that was Gray's final game for Watford. He has to go. He is so, so poor. I think any up and coming League Two player would be a lot more useful to us, than this over bloated salary of a player. If he's still at the club next season, it would show a severe lack of competence from the hierarchy as he is really a cash cow we should be be hemorrhaging money on. Success has to go too. He just has not worked out. Today was yet another chance to impress, but he failed miserably yet again. Brentford deserved their win. A far superior side on the day, and just shows how important it was we beat Millwall last week. Lee Mason is still a big fat cheating c*** though. Predictably gave the softest ever penalty against us and the booking he gave Perica was beyond farcical.
First time I've actually dozed off during a Watford game. Absolutely don't care about Brentford or the game. Hopefully these games just give a chance for the stiffs to have their final farewells before being offloaded.
I had a quick peek at their forum. There was one poster who asked if it was our first team and commented on how much better they were than us. But, to be fair, most acknowledged that we hadn’t bothered to turn up but were pleased to be going into the playoffs on the back of some decent results. This comment was spot on from one of them: “Chalobah, troos ekong, femenia, sarr, pedro all missing and now cleverley missing, this is not far off league cup type line up now. No side with success and gray leading the line should win a game in this division.” The last sentence hit the nail on the head
