Against all odds, relegated at the worst possible time in the midst of a pandemic and financial disaster for most clubs, never mind little old Watford getting relegated!

They said they'd fix it. Some doubted, some clung on to a thin veil of hope. Plenty of up and downs, sackings, players we'd loved for years sold, no fans, but at the end of the day we did it!

We're f*cking back baby!!! Watford never do it the easy way, but who'd have it any other way!!!!

Congrats to everyone involved! Next season can wait for a few days. Soak all this in, I'm off to grab my 7th beer, enjoy everyone!

i thought that to....i think he will leave this summer. he has had his time, and been a real club legend. like him or loathe him he was mr watford to many external commentators. i think the sun is setting on his career and he can spend it doing what he wants. he doesnt owe us anything, and we should probably allow him to go if he wishes to.

 

If nothing else we defended well as a team, despite a few customary hairy moments from WTE - the determination of Sarr and Sema in winning set-pieces epitomized this. This is what got us over the line, character and determination. I firmly believe last season's team even with the superior quality would have choked and let in an equaliser.

 

Hi all, spent my day watching my daughter run around my parents garden in the sun, did I miss something?!

 

I've been doing a course this weekend. Was very hard to focus from about 2.30 to the end and ended up resorting to doing a split screen to watch the presentation and to check the score.

Then at full time my engagement to the event dropped off completely - especially when I started reading comments on here.

Relief more than anything, turnaround in emotions from last Saturday. Not sure we'll catch Norwich now though they don't have 2 easy games either.

 

What a massive relief. We almost made it difficult for ourselves, but made it over the line.

Whatever happens, XM deserves a huge amount of credit. Our squad has looked thin in recent weeks (the bench has looked pretty weak), despite this, his record has been fantastic.

Now, we can all relax for a few weeks!
