The final game in 06/07 Boothroyd took Foster off for Chamberlain in the last minute as we were saying goodbye to both players at the time.
And he caused so much havoc that they won a penalty...which was missed, and I believe cost them a place in Europe lol
Pretty even first half. Sloppy goal to concede but good strike from Chabolah to get is right back in it so quickly. Bit of a windy affair - Bachmann continues to defy his supporters with a challenge that could of been a red. Not sure if a draw would be decent here - considering other results today already.
We were the better team in the first half, I think we have played well so far, Ekong looks a little bit of a liability however, Cardiff have yet to have a shot on target but have still scored unfortunately. Keep the ball on the floor and I think that we will be able to play around them and create few chances, they are not that impressive they remind me of a **** Welsh Burnley.
MMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Absolute scenes, get in! BTW Cardiff are perhaps one of the worse teams I've seen this season, awful awful football.
My HOPE is that that is the silly ludicrous event catalyst that drives us into an automatic promotion spot - every successful promotion campaign has one. Thought Chalobah had a really good game in the first half, even aside from his goal, which must be a contender for goal of the season with JP's at Derby. WTE is a scary f ucking player.
An absolutely GINORMOUS win that! Not the best performance, but Cardiff is always a tough place to go, and it's back in our hands!
Played alright first half but didn’t make enough of it. Should’ve scored 1 or 2 more. The second half was dire. What was our record for consecutive passes? Three, four? Didn’t think we were going to score if we played all day. It took a freak goalkeeping incident to gift out first free kick goal for five years! Too many of them seemed to lose their heads and go searching for a scrap, but they got the job done. I appreciate they’re not getting pushed around and made anyone’s b****. I was ready to have a bit of a moan about that performance but I’m giddy with joy now! So rare to be the team benefiting from an injury-time winner.
Deserved win. A bit poor from 70 minutes onwards. Cardiff predictable one route football. Goal of the season contender. Chalobah playing like a captain was marvellous. Sierralta is the rock of ages at the back despite that early set back. Did not let it shake him. Pedro showed brilliance at times. And the way that midfield of Hughes, Zinckernagel and Chabs moved the ball about for fun. Sarr could have had a couple but for one fine save and a rash slice. Kiko his usual POTS self. They were to a man magnificent perhaps aside from WTE but we win as a team and lose as one. The confidence and boost from winning this late on cannot be underestimated. Simply superb. What scenes. Sierralta's man bun is sacred territory from now on. The wife was a little bit scared by my animal howls as well.
Wow. Lucky, but ooh so enjoyable. The squad seem very together, based on the celebrations. Whilst the goal was lucky, we did deserve to win that game. Late winners give rise to a great feeling.
Wow, I did not see that coming. Was just getting ready to write how we won’t go up automatically simply because of having so many hard games like this, then we win it in the most unlikely fashion possible. He was the last person I wan to see standing over the ball, it was a terrible free kick... but it ******* well went in!!!!
