Wow. Say it’s true and Xisco does get the chop. Who in their right mind would replace him? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I think I'm now done with football for now. Hated last season and this feels the same. Let me know if we do actually get in the playoffs, can't see it....
Imagine being 4th and not having a single player in the top ten for either goals or assists, what could’ve so easily been:
I just feel so down about it all. Like everybody else on here, life in general has been tough this past year. We can’t see our friends or even our families. We can’t make plans. Right now we can’t go out for a nice dinner or a pint or even a cup of coffee. I got made redundant last Autumn and I’m sure I’m not the only one on here. Can’t make plans to go overseas to work this summer. Right now it’s just day after day of being stuck indoors, told to avoid the very social contact we all need as human beings. At least since June, we’ve had sport to watch. After those dreadful weeks of last April and May when there was nothing. It should have been a godsend for us all stuck in isolation. A lifesaver. Something to relish, to look forward to, to enjoy. But then came our team, our club. Who when the virus first struck had already been teetering on the edge of catastrophe. And when football was finally allowed back, all our chickens came home to roost. Recent seasons of poor recruitment. Seasons of being a laughing stock because of our hiring and firing Head Coaches. Seasons of allowing certain players to rule the roost. A disjointed dysfunctional set up. And boy once the cracks appeared did the whole dam threaten to burst. It’s not one thing in isolation that can be blamed. It’s everything coming together and finally catching up on us. Barely strengthening the defence last season. The inept thinking that allowed QSF back. Sacking Pearson when we could still have stayed up. More poor recruitment last summer. A risible January window. Truly seeming to believe that we had enough firepower for a promotion campaign. Thinking that an unfit Gosling would be the only signing needed to push us all the way to the Premier League. We’ve just become a laughing stock. The club who fires their manager with two matches still to play to survive. The club who appoint a nobody unheard of apart from those who follow Georgian football (and if they were following it closely enough to notice somebody who had under 15 matches in charge there). The club who signs loanees from the Prem only to then be told to return them as their owner clubs think they’d be better off elsewhere. Who sign one of the hottest properties (at our level) in Europe but don’t start him. The club who let an past his best forward strut around arrogantly giving the impression he runs the place. I could go on, but you all know the score too. We are a laughing stock. We can’t control what happens with WFC. We are resigned to just sitting back and observing. But lots of people can control it. They are paid handsomely to do so. To run the club properly. To recruit professionally. To manage the team decently. To play well. To give the impression they actually care. To show that they are all aware of the suffering and misery people like you and I are going through in lockdown, and to do their very best to make our lives better. To give us hope and pleasure. But instead all we get is terrible signings, terrible squad management, players behaving as if they are above the covid rules we are all having to observe, and terrible disinterested performances from players who are capable of so much better, and tactically naive performances by an out of his depth coach who has done little with his career to have earned his job at our beloved club. We have all been so badly let down this past year, at the very time in all our lives when we probably needed our football club the most. As supporters we can all keep our heads high, we support this club through all times, but there are many people at our club who should be hanging theirs in shame right now.
Whilst i agree he shouldnt start and dont know why he does over Pedro, he hasnt started 21 of those 31 matches and the other stuff hasnt got anything to do with on the pitch football.
Most of us were desperate for Gino to speak after relegation. Now he needs to step up and speak. Not put out some mealy mouthed drivel via Duxbury, actually talk, talk to us. Either that or change before it's too late,if it isn't already.
And the ones he missed were often even created in the first place by his own incredible hard work and commitment, whilst being subjected to challenges that today would be straight reds.
Most teams in this league play 3 cmids we play 2 then we wonder why the forwards dont score we wont create enough or score any chances as we are getting over run in midfield every game
These people will never bite the hand that feeds them Like all good evil regimes, Pozzo/Duxbury have brought the likes of Jacobsen, FTRE, Jacob Culshaw etc. into the fold, turning them into a dependent yet fiercely loyal apparatchik class of high profile happy clappers
If you think breaking COVID rules twice whilst playing for a club that trumpeted from the rafters all it had done to assist ‘our brave neighbours who are heroes’ has nothing to do with his fitness to represent that club on the pitch, then you are more myopic than any allegedly sane person can be. Or you are Moog Troll #35 and I claim my £5.
We have no plan b when it goes pear shaped its embarrassing just go like for like if you dont have a clue
Well, sorry, but I believe it is absolutely germane to on the pitch stuff. After his 2nd offence he should have been told he was not fit to represent the club on the field. Especially in light of the fact he can no longer function as any form of recognisable footballer.
Oh absolutely. Another reason to hate COVID. A strong, full throated, cathartic booing is just what we ALL need right now - especially those c*nts on the pitch.
Didnt see the point of the subs today just giving them game time again to keep them happy didnt influence the game at all it's the formation he needed to change, playing four at the back when they have one upfront and playing 2 in midfield when they have 3 whoever he picks we dont stand a chance until the balance of the team is corrected to many defending not enough attacking that's why we dont let many goals in and create or score many goals, absolute rubbish
Munoz makes more or less the same subs at the same time (65 minutes) every game, regardless of the result at the time and how we’re playing. Don’t try and make any sense of them, because there is no sense to them from a footballing or tactical perspective.
What an absolute shower of sh1t. Most teams play 3 in the middle of midfield so why don’t we? Are the opposition not watched? Wrong formation yet again. Why does Gray start any game. He clearly isn’t good enough. We didn’t play to our strengths. We have two decent wingers but rarely gave them the ball in forward positions. When was the last time Sarr pushed the ball past a full back and had a proper go. I cannot believe we went 4-4-2. I hate sacking managers but Munoz is not even close to being good enough. Bachman. Did ok but had nothing difficult to do. Looks dodgy on crosses. Ngakia. Sort of ok. Doesn’t look comfortable on the ball. The two centre backs. Decent partnership. Both get turned too easily causing yellow cards Masina. Awful. Doesn’t close down and his crossing is beyond rubbish. Aimless hoofing. Clev and Chalobah. Not going to lie and say they were ok because they were not. Too slow and woeful passing. In fairness though, it’s two on three a lot of the time. Sema. Been good this season but today was a waste of time. Sarr. Seems to have given up attacking. Thought he should possibly have given away a penalty. Deeney and Gray. Both rubbish for different reasons. One can’t move, the other can’t play football. Service was abysmal though.
This is a key point. If he was sitting on 20 goals how often would the covid be brought up? I would suggest a lot less offen. He was a donut for doing it but covid rules were broken at other clubs too. Kyle Walker had a sex party when he broke his (wahay!)
