I remember an interview with Vardy where he was saying he actively avoids putting on muscle so he can stay quick
Haven't we won this game yet? All we've got to do is dazzle them with our goalden shirts and 3 points are ours.
Team announced Foster Kiko WTE Kabasele Cathcart Sema Cleverley Capoue Quina Sarr JP Think we all convinced ourselves that Sarr would be rested
Strong team. Capoue, Pedro and Sarr start. https://mobile.twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1321161584849362945
I actually agree with starting Quina, but would've preferred Garner, Capoue and Quina. All three have something to prove in some way and it's still a competitive team
If that’s the team then very happy with that. Unable to watch it tonight but very confident having seen that
It's cos they ballsed up the tweet, they had Garner listed as both being an incoming and outgoing change out to the squad:
Good team, not a bustin' lot of attacking threat from the bench but hopefully we won't need it. Sarr might end up with bruises on his bruises tonight.
About as strong as it gets other than Femenia instead of Ngakia. Don't like that him and Wilmot are sitting out two games in a row.
Last week they had Cathcart starting twice . Just goes to show how hard it is to cut and paste on the Internet
TEAM NEWS: Adebayo Akinfenwa starts and takes the captain's armband. Wycombe: Allsop, Grimmer, Jacobson, Stewart, Wheeler, Kashket, Knight, Horgan, Thompson, Akinfenwa, Adeniran.
They were first called the Originals but because there was another group in the east end called the Originals, they called themselves the New Originals, but then the Originals changed their name to the Regulare and the New Originals became the Thamesmen.
You can almost work out our starting eleven this season based on who gets most of the pre-match coverage on the club’s social media. The more coverage a player gets, the more likely it is that he won’t feature. These past days it’s been Hughes, Gray and Chalobah! Previously of course we’ve had Estupinan, Suarez, Sarr, Perica and Capoue all suffer the same fate. If I were a player, I think I might refuse to do any media pre-match. It’s the kiss of death!
I know the club have been getting some stick on here recently, but it’s nice to see them helping out lower league clubs at a really rough time for those at such levels. You’d imagine playing our reserves would have minimized the number of Wycombe fans paying for streams through the club, but the chance to see the likes of Sarr and Capoue in the digital flesh probably swung a few more toward purchasing.
"Some games they deserve more than they get in three or four games." Ivic on Wycombe. Erm - I think I understand you, Vlad. It's taken me a while, mind: Wycombe, of course, have yet to get any points; so in some of their games they deserve more than zero.
Strong side. Still a very nervy game looking from the outside in. As a few of us said, this is the exact game for us to concede a last minute goal again, if the scores are tied. Praying we won't. Give Murray some minutes if we're losing, fox in the box.
