Fixtures for the Premier League are out tomorrow. We view the 'promised land' from afar now we are back to being the lowly club everyone expects of us.

Will Liverpool have to go into a period of quarantine when they return from Austria or are they exempt as maybe in their own bubble?

As per the Suarez discussion, footballers don't get any dispensation, everyone has to quarantine. I suspect that as the rule applies from 4am tomorrow that they will be planning to leave today.

Nope, they're exempt apparently. I think it's because they're all together in camp, in a controlled and restricted environment without interaction with the general public. That's different from say Suarez or Estupinan who will have been god knows where on their holidays.

Are you sure it's not one rule for the big, important teams and another for everyone else? That's how the world usually works.

Let’s hope he doesn’t defend himself in court....

Get it? Because he’s a crap defender. I’ll get my coat.

I know you frequent a forum of theirs. Are they over it yet or are they still whining? There's plenty of sympathisers who post on every PL comment on Twitter but I can't work out if they're real people or Saudi troll farms.

I have to be diplomatic as a few of 'em lurk on here but you're familiar with the K*bler-Ross model of grief, two of the stages begin with 'A' and 95% are stuck on that letter... I can't take a screenshot of the fora, but a thread entitled "Takeover back on?" was 3000+ posts.

Dirty Leeds have signed Rodrigo from Valencia for 27 million. Great signing. Shame.

Chelsea have just spunked £50mil on Chilwell. If he was French say and Chelsea paid half of that fee I’d still be stunned, he really isn’t that good. Not quite Maguire levels of stupid from the buying party but still, it’s remarkable that Leicester have had £130mil off Man Utd and Chelsea for that pair.

It’s just a shame we’re absolutely crap at recruitment now.

They should really be challenging Liverpool and Citeh with the amount of money they've spent. I'm sure if they scrape 4th next season the media will hail Lampard as some kind of genius.

If Calvin Phillips played for any other newly promoted side he wouldn't get a look in. The FA are a bunch of elitist *****.

It’s all so tedious isn’t it?

Oh and having known for months that they would be raking in that cash the club have still told ST holders that they need to pay £70 up front to secure their seats for the season. No idea why. They can ********, I’m not going to pay it and I’m more or less done with Premier League football in general.

Must admit to being jealous of Chelsea's transfers.

Chilwell, Havertz, Werner, Thiago Silva, Ziyech and even Malang Sarr to loan out and develop.

They knew there was a gulf between them and the top two and have shown genuine ambition to have a go.

Not really sure where to post this & didn't want to create a thread.

Wolves sign Fabio Silva. He’s got some potential.

Wonderful player on the last couple of FM’s. Took my Watford team to glory.

Same. A devastating goal scorer who did the same for me. I still regularly think back to a warm night in Toronto last summer, when I came back to my hotel from a night of work-related drinking and settled down for a Champions League final against Bayern. Typically I won’t let myself play when drunk, but this time the combination of many pints and the Champions League theme song playing full blast at 2 in the morning was enough to bring glory to the hornets. He notched a couple for the underdogs in a 6-2 victory

Even if takes some time to settle and produce, a front line containing Silva, Jimenez, and Traore is a frightening prospect.

Declan Rice liked that tweet and Wilshere commented on Instagram that he wished Diangana well at a club that actually values him. If they're like that in public, it must be a full-blown revolt behind the scenes!

Maybe if they'd signed him 2 seasons ago they'd have got the **** kicked out of them in the cup final?

Would that come together though? He's only 18 and Jimenez and Traore might not be there forever

Will no doubt be better than last season when they benefited from a weak top 6, although there's still a gap between them and the top 2. Realistically I think if Chelsea want to seriously compete for the title, they still need a lot of work, it's too early IMO

I don't particularly care too much about what goes on, I don't care how Palace or Burnley do, I don't care if City and Liverpool both get 100 points. What I do care about is that I would love Leeds to go down, put them back where they belong.

Fulham are surely doomed, and probably West Brom as well.

Beyond that a lot of the lower half clubs seem to definitely be strengthening this summer, Brighton, Palace, Villa and Newcastle appear to be making some good signings.

There'll be a lot of pressure on Watkins at Villa though, and I'm not sure he'll be able to do quite enough to stop them from joining Fulham and WBA in the drop.

At the top half of the table I def don't see Liverpool running away with it this year. I doubt they'll even win the league. They've not looked the same team since the restart and a few of their key players still look very rusty.

Not entirely sure who will win it, but fitness permitting I wouldn't be surprised if both Chelsea and Utd leapfrog Pool and City (unless City make another couple of big signings this summer).
