The Athletic reporting that this isn't as done a deal as Watford would like. His agent has said: “Nothing is fixed,” he told The Athletic. “We have a ‘so-called’ contract from January. Now we are trying to resolve possible issues. The circumstances are very strange. The communication of Watford doesn’t change anything for us.” Watford are indeed confident that all the paperwork is finalised and submitted however. Disagreement is believed to be around the financial terms and bonuses of the contract. It's worth noting that his agent is his new agent and the deal was signed with his former agent, so I'd wager that his new agent is pretty miffed that he won't be getting a cut out of this deal and is instead trying to negotiate a new deal so that he gets some money out of it. All sounds very Holebas mk2
Seems like a money grabbing agent who is upset he missed a cut! If his signature is on the contract then we have nothing to worry about.
I actually think he would be (provided the season continues after 1st July). U21 players (which he'll be classed as this season) don't have to be registered with the PL so as far as I know, he'd be free to play as soon as his contract with us kicks in.

Great .. http://sportwitness.co.uk/new-watfo...-vicarage-road-move-fears-loaned-immediately/ Holebas MK2
This young lad has been manipulated by his agents horribly. They really are everything that is wrong with football. If he has a contract with us I can’t imagine the Pozzos just saying fair dos we will let you out. They will probably have to be paid the players market value to let that happen. How much is this lad worth?
I'd bet my house that this is just his new agent trying to get a slice of the pie. He reckons there was money left on the table; obviously the kid moving makes him nothing right now, so why not create a fuss over nothing? Won't cost him anything.
Nope. Although it is pretty weird to announce free signings this early. I also struggle to see as a player how you'd sign with 3 different clubs and not twig that something was amiss.
Apparently all 3 contracts were signed before 1st Jan which makes them all illegitimate. Hopefully we had a date/time stamp and a notary present...
You'd think Le Havre would have noticed they were passing on his registration to three different clubs as well!
I know the club are not big on announcements but you would think it might be an idea to re confirm that this is done. I suspect it has and the agent is a pillock
This has the ring of Sarr about it. In France, they are bemused. "why sign for Watford?. He could go to a bigger club". Who are the other two clubs? I have not read anything here regarding two other clubs. Former agent and new agent are in disagreement over who he was contracted with at the time of his signing. As with others, l think the new agent feels he can get a better deal with another team and more commission. If he comes, l don't think he will go on loan to Udinese. He is good enough for us. He is like Doucoure. He is raw, but with a far better touch and more control. He is a stroppy player, so a bit up and down. Certainly good enough for us though. Le Havre has a good reputation for producing young players. If it happens, a decent signing.
Is the agent related to Ted Bovis. Always up for a money making scheme the Bovis family. Just another greedy parasite. The day when agents are dispensed with if it ever comes will be a pleasant relief to humanity.
I suppose they will still be rich and making silly demands even those everyone else in football will be trying to save money .

Surely if he's signed a contract with his former agent it must be binding. He's a Watford player. If he now thinks he's above playing for us or the new agent is trying to make a name for himself. Then quite frankly he should start looking for a new club. Any monies made will be greatly needed. Gino has been doing this far too long to make any contractual errors. Anyways my Italian father in law has informed me today that Musso the Udinese keeper is getting linked with us. Personally I can see that there maybe a fair amount of trading between the two clubs during the next window. Especially with a shortage of money and reported decline in transfer fees.
There were similar rumblings after we'd signed Joao Pedro, with many looking to see if there was a way back out of the contract which had been signed, but it seemed that the Pozzos had everything watertight and he stayed ours.
Mr Gueye and his agent need to look at the last Le Havre player that Pearson coached before spouting off.
