Rules in this game that might differ a little:

If the Wolves choose one or the other as a night kill then they won't die in this game but will be told the person they chose to kill was a Wolf. The chosen Wolf won't know the identity of the person who just visited.
As usual, if both Wolves choose the same night kill then they will be able to communicate outside of the game.

The 3 Masons know each other but are forbidden to discuss their roles outside of the game day (I am watching).

The apprentice Seer knows their role.

Severe punishments are waiting for non posting or not voting. Severe!

    Any questions?

Is this new? I thought that, previously, if two wolves chose the same kill they learnt of each other’s identities but it didn’t mean they could communicate with each other outside game play?

Whenever I've run one I've always included that. It happened once and was a joy to watch it unfold.

I'm of the opinion that having the wolves knowing each other's identity is enough of an advantage. Communicating outside of the day phase of the village for all players should be forbidden.

Agree that wolves communicating outside of the game is a bit overkill. It's very common for wolves to pick the same kill. Wouldn't it make it far too easy for team evil from the outset?

Perhaps they should be allowed to communicate the second time they pick the same villager, rather than the first.

Ok there is definitely resistance. The village is democratically run so I'll can the idea. I appreciate the feedback.

Not really sure I understood what that debate was about, but I agree with the general view ( how about that fence sitting)

So what are the rules this time round? Are we going for basic werewolf? Can they be pinned when the game starts?

I've just been liking all the posts to subliminally ingratiate myself with the other players so no-one turns on me. No-one will ever see through my cunning plan.

I just want to say Diamond is running this game....he should be allowed to run the game how he sees fit. It doesn't matter how others have run games in the past, he should be able to run a game how he likes without interference and advice from others. He is an experienced enough player and moderator to know what he is doing.

Have to disagree, your games in the past have been superb fun and your moderating is usually spot on. If you wanted to introduce something new you should have been allowed to and seen how it panned out. After all no-one has had a go at Otter when he has introduced changes which changed the way the game was played.

Well if team good win by a mile I'll keep on about it for a few months then. I just have a sneaky feeling this one is going to be the long game.

I do agree with what you say in principle. If Diamond turned around and said 'I'm going to do it my way, I think it will be more fun' I don't think you'd hear many complains.

But he's been quite open from the outset about asking for the villages views on how to run the game. I think Diamonds done a great job by getting people very engaged in the game before it even starts, which will hopefully make for a very decent contest.
