.......you played to a high level, as you’re always telling everyone. Neither statements are true of course.
Womens football isnt likely to progress much further if we keep comparing it to the mens game.. like for like. We dont do that when we watch mens football of a lower level so why should we do that with the ladies game? and yes i understand the media these days overplay the equality thing but dont let that take anything away from the progress in the womens game. Enjoy it for what it is.
Quite right. You can’t on the one hand (rightly) moan about the BBC treating men’s and women’s football as a single sport while on the other say the women’s standard is no better than parks football.
I thought it was definitely a penalty. It was a minor touch, but it caught the swinging leg that was just about to knock in an open goal. That is the perfect scenario for a good penalty decision. Whereas I think penalties resulting from a shot from near the edge of the area that hit someones arm 2 yards away are a total abomination.
The only thing that confuses me, is why do you constantly use three alias accounts? Just sign on as the same person and leave it at that. Having a three-way conversation with yourself is just plain mad.
Venus Williams just lost to a 15 year old. You cant define the level of womens football as a particular league. Any man playing sunday football could have a strength advantage. I've played a terrible level of competitive football and theres plenty of fat unfit men that can still kick a ball harder than Lucy Bronze who has a "powerhouse left foot" according to Jonathan Pearce.
Also can I point out to the commentators/summarisers: it's not "...just offside..." it's just "...offside...".
I never get bored of how crazy I send you. I haven't even brought up your PM's to me back when I first joined yet. Maybe next time.
Totally outclassed, just not good enough and the better team, (by a country mile), won. The teams failings were clear for everyone to see last night but for me Parris was an absolute disaster. Every single time she received the ball she either played it backwards or lost it. Every bl**dy time. I thought Amrabat was back. Yes it was offside and yes it was a penalty, but if we'd have levelled up that game it would have been a total injustice.
PM's to you? I very much doubt that, although I might have PM'd one of your other aliases. You must tell me which one it was. I bet you print everything off and keep it in a little book for reference, which for someone like you, fits the profile perfectly. All your accounts are exactly the same. Sarcastic to the world and love to just picks fights for no reason. Two even have a similar name, and all have the same style of photo. But if it rocks your boat, go for it. Like I said before, without the people on this forum, you'd have no reason to live. So you should be thanking me for giving you a reason to get out of bed in the morning. When I reply to you, it's my community duty done for the day.
I'm actually quite glad our purple-faced, pony-tailed footy fillies lost out. For three reasons:- 1. I haven't forgiven the Lionesses for the racist way they treated that Oluku girl and then dropped her when she complained about it. 2. I'm keen to see how the Rapinhoe Vs Trump thing plays out. Wooooo! You go girl! As I believe you say over there. 3. Phil Neville is an absolute *****ater.
But they must be the same because men and women are equal. Haven't you heard ? It's outrageous and probably downright illegal that male players earn more, and this has to stop. Sexist pig.
Jonathon Pearce. Was he the one who said "Would have thought the neutrals would have been massively supporting England " about the vocal support - and "What an incredible player, what an incredible human being" about the penalty taker only seconds before she missed? I hear that both comments had Scotland rolling around in fits of laughter.
His commentary has grated from the day he first picked up a microphone. God knows why he is employed. Can't bear him.
No. There is no Step 4. The preceding three steps, when aggragated and summed to a total, sure seem like heaven to him. Wap, wap oooooh...
It will be interesting to see the TV audience for the final today. How many will stick with the tournament now that England are out? Then there’s the added downside of watching the Yanks win it.
