I've just seen that Norway went for me. Hilarious given I'm the one trying to save him.

Feasibly, unless everyone votes for one other person, he's a goner.

I'm suspicious of NI Orn (said he was interested in the theory of saving the guardian and lumped on when he could sway the vote) and Grrwood.

I've played this game only twice (maybe 3 times) before so just clarifying the rules.

As I said earlier, the guardian was the anomaly - so what would the outcome be if the guardian wasn't there.

I'm really sorry about the lack of activity today guys, had a tender to complete and haven't stopped since. I will look through this in the next 30 mins.

Of the 12 players other than myself, I believe Cassetti and Cthulhu to be good, HH24 & Norway as not wolves. So that leaves 8

Daft Row - no idea, hasn't posted so is it suspicious or not available to do so?
Grrwood - experienced player, would do the wolf messaging very well.
Horace - I think new to the game but could we have a good player on our hands?
Hornetgags - playing the naivety card well.
Miked2006 - posting pattern suggests not Alpha
    Moog - ditto.
Nornironhorn - very good player, played well when I moderated, very 'helpful' today, hiding in plain sight?
Opti - as per Daft Row.

Highest on my radar are Nornironhorn and Grrwood, these two need looking at by the seer urgently.

Not one poster here put forward an alternative to voting for Norway so your suspicion baffles me. I'm happy to be viewed tomorrow though seer as that is two people who have suspected me now for the only crime of actively taking part!

To clarify, I'm pretty sure message two today was from the seer, it makes no sense for it to be from the wolf. That's been covered.

I also think Norway is probably good, and there is a chance he is the Guardian too based on his hints.

If we lynch Norway, we will know which message was from the wolf and which was from the seer. If we don't, then who do we lynch?

    I've just removed a post from a non-player.

Please do not post in this thread unless you are playing or you are Dom. Feel free to post in the tavern or ask me for cemetery access if you want.

For the sake of transparency, the post was simply this:

I can't bring myself to vote for Norway as I firmly believe he's good. I will vote for whom I believe is most likely to be Alpha.

Personally I feel splitting the vote can lead to more issues.

If you vote for player z when everyone else votes for player x, a wolf may decide to kill player z to try and frame you. Remember, it won't just be the wolf trying to attack you in these threads if player z gets killed and you're the only one who voted for them - it will be the wolf, the other wolf and the traitor.

You're right. But it doesn't stop me being suspicious (now the wolves know each other) of players that lump on for the easy target at the most opportune moment.

However, if we were to simplify our dilemma, it boils down to this:

Is a (very unlikely) potential wolf kill and 2 revealed good players, worth a guardian that's revealed themselves and therefore will die tomorrow evening having saved nobody else other than themselves.

I think unfortunately, it's probably the logical thing to do.

So essentially we are thinking on the exact same lines...

Surely a more opportune moment would be one of the final few votes, ie slipping under the radar?

Hi Guys, my apologies, I've been in meetings all afternoon. My boss doesn't understand the importance of Werewolf!

I had a swift read of the afternoon comments about the messages. For what it's worth, I think all 3 could well be innocent. However not going for one of the 3 named isn't logical, as punting in the dark for an un-named is such a big outside shot and leaves us non-the-wiser about these 3. I think going for Norway is the only way to know one way or the other which message was which.

Only when the voting is close.

But for now, we've got to focus on the chain of events and the style. The seer needs to be consistent. Give a chain of who they've looked at and whether they are good or evil and the wolf will eventually have to copy this chain. This will lead to people being proven innocent.

If Norway is good, then CB and Cthulu are almost certainly innocent.

    Voting for Norway now.

I reluctantly voted for Norway, but I do have deep suspicions about a few players as I have said before.

I would strongly recommend that the seer takes a look at Nornironhorn and Grrwood in the coming days.

With unfounded accusations such as these, I'm going to be a key suspect tomorrow. You've played into team evils hands.

"MounTIN to climb" - part of Norway's early post on here. References dom's post about the tinny voice of the Guardian. I think the Wizard of Oz bit is also referencing this, the tin man.

Gridiron Newspaper - I think this is a very loose interpretation of the word anagram, and is a hint towards the Guardian newspaper.

Quite cryptic to say the least!

"Another pint please bar keep." Came the cry from a punter eager for their next drink.
"Bloody hell you are drinking me dry!" Norwayhornet laughed as he began to pull the ping distracting him from The Wizard of Oz which was on the television.

He had owned The Horse to Water for a couple of years now and was dreaming of retiring and moving to pastures now especially with this wolf pandemic afflicting the village.

Whilst in a Julie Garland induced daydream Norwayhornet failed to notice the sizeable crowd amassing outside the pub. It took for a wooden bench to come flying through one of the front windows of the bed to get his attention.

Furiously he stormed outside to confront the crowd and find out who threw the bench.
"Oi, whats all this? Who throws a bench for God's sake?!"
"You, Norwayhornet, are evil and you are sentenced to death." Screamed Otter being restrained by Miked.
"You have got the wrong end of the stick here pal." Replied Norway firmly standing his ground.
"You know what else likes sticks? Dogs, he's a wolf let's get him." Somebody from the crowd screamed.

With that the crowd surged forward forcing Norway back to the bar as the pub quickly filled. He scrambled over the bar to try and escape but found HappyHornet24 already waiting there knife in hand and the door to the cellar open.
"I tried to tell you all but you didn't listen. This is not the end of it. No this is just the beginning." Norway pleaded but to no avail.

Happy lunged forward and stuck the dagger between Norway's ribs planting it in to the hilt. Norway staggered backwards in disbelief looking down at the knife stuck in his chest. He looked up and stumbled towards Happy in the vain hope for help. Happy sidestepped and with a slight push helped Norway down the cellar stairs.

There was an almighty crash as Norway finally ended in his final destination, glazed eyes looking up at the door. The villagers gathered round the door to see if their decision was correct. All of a sudden a loud gasp escaped Otters lips. A couple of feet away from Norway's body, he had noticed a suit of armour and a baroque sword.

    ****************************

Norwayhornet was not just good he was very good. He was the Guardian.

Night folks, please can you send me your names.
