Fool! By showing them that the EPL is the best league in the world and how that's affecting the national side by them getting to the QF stage of the next international competition. Probably.

England will win the World Cup with Origi and Lucas Moura up front. It's only a matter of time.

Spurs have had an large amount of luck getting to the final.

I'm no believer in fate and "their name's on the cup", however I'll be placing a cheeky wager on them to win this.

Kane maybe fit in time but he will not be match fit,how many games has he missed?
Moreover Spurs have no way of giving him match time.
The HLTC Spurs love in has begun, especially as Oliver Skipp has family at the club.
It's going to be along wait until June 2.
    I'm with the Reds.

From the pure anti English football agenda they have had for years, which has been evident in so many ways. In the same way The FA were extremely disappointed we knocked wolves out of the semi final, the bells in UEFA were crying themselves to sleep at it being an all English football final.

Chelsea vs Barca for one. Arsenal vs Barca in the CL final. England as a nation in multiple world cups and euro’s getting screwed by the ref. England vs Portugal, England vs Germany. These are just a few of the examples that any football fan could give.

The fact that England lost the World Cup bid because of bribery tells you everything you need to know. England is one of the most hated nations in the world when it comes to sports.

There is a bit of that, I must admit. England invented football, and there is this feeling of the FA think they run FIFA. FIFA hate that, plus you also grassed them up and exposed their corruption. That never goes down well.

The English team have always been a bit of a joke, with the sum of the parts not adding up. A bit like Holland. Good players, but a crap team. That's changing now, and I see real progress for England under Southgate.

Domestically I know Blatter was really anti-English. He wanted to change the rules in order to stop England dominating. I think that was after United v Chelsea one year, then of course the Spanish and Italian clubs became dominant so it all went away.

I wouldn't say England are hated, but they certainly are not loved, and there's a difference. England will never be anyone else's second team, unless you are me of course.....lol. I love England nearly as much as I do Spain.

Every football club in the world has suffered multiple bad refereeing decisions, what does it matter if it happened in a UEFA competition? In the last 20 years andincluding this year English sides have made the final 12 times.

UEFA have nothing to do with England’s World Cup bid, (it’s FIFA who decide that) during which the English FA themselves tried to grease a few wheels. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/fifa-world-cup-corruption-report-arrogant-fa-thought-they-could-do-it-all-with-2018-world-cup-bid-a3575011.html?amp

You know they’ll never get round to punishing any big English clubs under their FFP ruling, no matter how much teams like Manchester City take the piss.

I don’t know all that much about the alleged corruption at UEFA or the cases brought against FIFA officials but its obvious there’s very little transparency. To think that there’s a conspiracy against a England’s Champions League teams seems quite far fetched.

One of my group at Ware is in utter shock.
He is a lapsed Gooner, director at GSK, but for a considered, mild mannered chap was befuddled by the result.
For his sake I think we all need to get behind the only viable option:
Pray that all their heads fall off*.
    *Temporarily.

So the grand finale of the European season ends up as a second grade ‘Super Sunday & it’s live!’

Extraordinarily, the 2 biggest English teams aren’t featured.

That is complete rubbish. He is probably the best I've seen in my life. You cannot call somebody over rated with stats like 611 goals in 716 appearances, pretty much scoring 50 goals a season for the last 10 years. He has been directly involved in 66 goals this season. Since Iniesta and Xavi stopped playing he has basically carried that team. I would take him over Ronaldo every time

    Horses for courses. I wouldn’t.

If he’s that good, why have Argentina been so useless in the WC recently?

He certainly didn’t carry the team the other night.

There was an interview with one of the founders of WSC who said the reason he started the mag was the he was at a 'do' when someone asked what he did - he told them he was a football writer (or something similar) and the bloke replied "Oh Good! My team's West Ham - how are they doing?".
