Follow up question, were you always in the home support and what were the results? Trying to find out if you and your boys are good luck!

I went to the Newcastle and QPR FA cup games, (and the Palace away league game incidentally), but won't be going to this one despite being Cat A for home tickets. Some of us despise the home game experience, quarter final or not.

Zero chance of getting a ticket I'm afraid through the normal route.

There's usually 2400 tickets on sale for home supporters and I imagine it'll be less as Palace might get the whole away end. You'll see below that there's 50,000 other supporters ahead of you in Cat A, B & C - I'd be pretty annoyed if the club started handing out tickets to non-Watford fans considering there's plenty of us that are going to miss out.

Group A – 4,811 fans (a previous season ticket since 2014/15 counts as multiple purchases) - Supporters with 25 or more home match ticket purchases under Fan ID record since July 2014 (and NOT a current 2017/18 season ticket holder)
Group B – 2,698 fans: - Supporters with at least 10 but less than 24 home match ticket purchases under Fan ID record since July 2014 (and NOT a current 2017/18 season ticket holder)
Group C – 44,083 fans: - Supporters with at least 1 but less than 9 home match ticket purchases under Fan ID since July 2014 (and NOT a current 2017/18 season ticket holder)
Group D – 13,500 fans: - 2018/19 season ticket holders who wish to purchase additional tickets for family members and friends who have not purchased before

I recon Milwall Brighton is your best shot, potentially Wolves v Utd considering it's 7.55 pm kick off on a Saturday evening!

    Good luck.
I think your chances are slim to be honest as I would imagine this will be a popular game. As somebody suggested, emailing the club might be the best idea, you never know and apologies for the abuse you've received. We have a laugh and a joke on here and many posts are posted in jest but his are just pathetic. Stick him on the ignore list so you don't have to see his responses.
Be interested to hear how you get on

Wait for the next round if you want to see us. It’ll be at Wembley and they’ll be loads of tiggets on sale to JP.

They’ll be no fun in watching the stripey no-ones.

My mate just text me saying he can't make the 16th so do I want to use his 3 season tickets to buy tickets for this match. How I laughed.

Any chance of expanding that decision to include the whole forum?

Long shot I know but if anyone ends up with a couple of spare tickets for the 16th please PM me. Reckon there's little chance of any being left once season ticket holders have used their allowance, especially with the relocation.

What's your home ticket category? If you're A or B I think you'll be ok so long as you can log in ASAP on Friday morning. (though why they're letting A and B buy together I don't know...)

Oh I'm B; hadn't realised, as you say, that Bs were being unleashed at the same time as As. Will have a go on Friday - thanks for the tip.

Absolute ******* joke. Asked to find 2 seats anywhere - got placed in an online queue for 20 minutes, then taken to a page saying "your basket is empty". Now the site is saying there are no seats available.

I feel for you - don't think it's fair that Group B was allowed on at the same time as Group A. Not that it's done me any favours, mind!

Website is an absolute disaster - couldn't get through to the site on a browser but worked fine on the phone, payment froze and said the tickets had been re-released, tried again and said I had already got a ticket, 5 minutes later in my account history I have two tickets purchased in completely different seats as to which I chose - better seats as well so guess that'll do.

Keep at it, there are definitely seats still available. Took me 25 minutes to get 2 in the Rookery. Plus about 3 times it looked to boot me out while Ticketmaster was 'varifying my browser', whatever that means. Though at one point I had two really good seats in the middle of the singing section, it refreshed and they were gone. It's a bit of a car crash.

How? Site saying "all available seats taken" when I ask to find 2 (or even 1) seat anywhere?

Yup, trying that too but when I try to put seats it says are available in my basket, I just get a red exclamation mark.

An absolutely joke really but looking at this as a positive that tickets are in demand.

I'm home category A while my brother and Dad are Category B...I had to log in to their accounts to book as it wasn't letting me, a category A person to book. Got all three in the end but nobody answering the phones and I was queuing for a long time across three devices.

    Let's hope the tickets arrive

Edit: Success! For those still trying, I kept redialling the club phone number as well as trying online and eventually got through - bought tickets successfully over the phone. There are still plenty of seats left in the Rookery - bought the two seats over the phone that the website wasn't allowing me to put in my basket.
Good luck to those still trying

Well that was a shambles. Queued to access the site as expected, so no big deal. Got in, and access to tickets only for Season Ticket Holders and Group B (I'm Group A). Took them about 10 minutes to correct that, then I could access the seat map. Selected two seats into the basket, clicked buy now, then got kicked out.

At which point got my brother on the case at his end (also Group A), and he went through the process as well, only to have the site hang and crash and kick him out to the back of the queue, when he tried to check out after providing card details etc. So I tried again, and was eventually successful - and received a confirmation email with my correct address details.

Worryingly, about 5 minutes after this my brother also received a confirmation email, with his address/payment details, for the SAME SEATS. Hmmm...

...and we both have pending transactions!!

What slightly worries me is that there seemed to be lots more "free" seats on the interactive map than there are for a "normal" match, which seemed counter-intuitive.

I was holding out until after 4pm as Mrs Mazzereth is cat c and fancied some FA Cup action. I did not think I would manage get a her ticket. I managed to get two seats next to each other in the Rookery. Nice surprise, thus ends my Friday story....
