Is anyone up for an end of January blues-busting game of werewolf? If so, declare you interest below. Also would anyone be able to moderate? I don't have a lot of time - so my first preference is to simply play - however might be able to do something very light touch if necessary.
Will be in Cuba teaching capitalism to the commies so unable to play. Will be watching though as and when I can find wifi (assuming they have electricity in Cuba, Clive ?).
January is usually my busiest month of the year, and this year is no different. I'd play but I certainly won't be moderating this time despite the huge amount of fun it was in the last game, it did rather take it out of me hence why I was eager to end it on the seventh day.
Echo the above, I can play but wouldn't have the time to moderate the game. I can moderate graveyard access, etc, like last game, but wouldn't have the time to be the game moderator. Otter has set the standard too high as well!
Definitely on for playing. In theory would be happy to have a go at moderating but would need some guidance on what time is needed to commit to know if, in practice, I could do it. There are certain times of day I'm rarely around due to child/dog commitments.
You dont need toooooo much time. Sending the roles out is the worst bit. If you are able to get on at 9am and 8pm to begin and end days, and then able to glance at your phone/computer every hour for anonymous messages its fine. Unfortunately im not sure I will be able to run one this time myself. I wouldnt be able to keep checking for the messages.
You don't have to do too much for the write ups. When I moderated my opening one was probably the hardest and how the action unfolds may almost guide you to how you write the others. Ultimately you could end a day with: Joe Bloggs lynched -> Good//evil. Night players PM me. Then start a day with: Bob & Sid killed by wolves, both good. Guardian visited Harry. The tricky bit is to make sure you are around for the two messages, and to answer any questions thrown at you from the village. You don't need fancy extra roles, I did it just to spice things up a bit.
There's in international break coming up. I'll run one starting Monday 18th March again, on these conditions: 1. We get at least 16 players 2. Someone volunteers to do the next one in June.
Love to play in March but would be limited during the day. if you get 16 then i'll watch from a distance. If short i'll make limited visits to the village
Not sure if you're assuming everyone who initially signed up is on for March but, in case not, I'm in.
I am a concientious objector. Been watching The Order and werewolves are clearly misunderstood and actually some are quite nice when you get to know them.
If there is a springtime werewolf, I won't be able to start Monday or Tuesday next week now as I will be too busy with work.
Quite. I believe werewolves are now a WWF protected species. I give £5m a month to sponsor one called Emily who lives in Devon. There's also a scheme by which you give blood each month which reduces their need to kill.
