The Watford Observer reported back in January that he'd left the club after only 4 months: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...over-claims-he-was-removed-for-being-english/ Yet Benjafield's LinkedIn page still says he's employed: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gavin-benjafield-803a0820/ I guess it's consistent that details of who works where/when/how long etc are muddled, similar to "accurate" news on players returning from injury.
Fishal site says it's a scheduled operation to deal with an issue he's had for years. Not sure why it'd be scheduled for now though rather than the moment it became clear he wasn't going to play again last season.
May be it's flared up during the first stages of pre-season? Possibly his rehab from his hamstring problem would have hampered the rehab from this operation? I can't think of any other sensible reasons.
Guess so. Although the hamstring injury was in January. Surely even with us, this would be rehabilitated by early summer!! It generally takes the other teams 6-8 weeks after all.
The only thing with his hamstring problem was he did it twice didn't he? He suffered the initial injury but came back too soon and disappeared into next Autumn! So I guess it wasn't just a run-of-the-mill pull but instead it was shredded like paper accounts from when Baz ran the club.
It was in a match I think. That's how I remember it but I may be wrong. It's too hot to think so I'm going to have a little lie down.
But in any case he is having surgery for a long-term ankle condition. Speculation about the medical team is just that. Maybe they did an amazing job to keep him on the pitch as long as they did.
None of the reports I've read actually say when he had the operation - they all say that he is commencing rehab and hopes to be ready to return in the Autumn, with one suggesting that he'll be back for the Palarse game at the end of August. That suggests to me that he had the op a while ago - after my achilles op a few years ago, my leg was in plaster for three months & rehab took another six weeks or so.
That's not the question people are asking? The query was why the surgery for long term condition wasn't done earlier in the summer. Perhaps it was as Oxhey says due to the interaction with the previous hamstring injury. Apologies for discussing Watford players on a Watford forum.
CairnsOrn if anything - Auchenflower is in Brisbane. With me currently contemplating a move to Scotland, I may add a gorm to that and become CairngormsOrn...
Without looking, I have no idea which thread this is. I tend to agree but also disagree violently. Pecorino.
AuchentoshanOrn is available. Or the simple & classic ‘Moog’. If he can have multiple iDs, surely we can all be Moog.
