I found out after playing 3 games and running 1, I still haven't got a clue.

It still feels like there must be a way to play anonymously to eliminate certain players being picked out.

We must be able to create 20 anonymous accounts that the game organiser can allocate out with passwords when they allocate the roles.

They can then be reused every game.

 

Inclined to agree. I think Otter has done and is doing a fantastic job but I feel like anonymity would add a lot to the game.

Yeah, there's nothing Otter can do to affect our own bias towards people. I may try and sort it out for the next game. Staff who are playing, what do you think?

 

If things are anonymous it's going to make harder to remember who said what , although the theory is sound.

 

Maybe everyone is given a name based on their occupation and is provided the relevant avatar? e.g. Butcher, Dentist, Publican etc etc. Wouldn’t be allowed the same occupation as previous games though.

The roles/occupations could all be the same each game. Just randomly assigned to each player. I think I said last game that they could even be famous people rather than roles as may be easier to remember.

It's worth 1 or 2 games trial.

 

Only thing is would people play away from this site or would it put people off? And wasn't it possible to post with other peoples names or was that another version?

 

it wouldn't put me off and if possible, the anonymous thing would be good. it's too easy (and natural) to judge someone from a previous game.
