It's genuimely not my intention to pick on anyone, I want us to win as many games as possible and to do that we need 11 players out there who are on top of their game and ready to fight in this league

It's no time to be giving players extended bedding in periods

Oh and I don't think layun has lived up to his billing, but please let's not have a ****ing Salem witchhunt for a new booboy at this stage of the season. He's playing a part. Maybe we all hoped he'd do more and maybe, in time he will, but awful, terrible and disdainful he ain't, so let's just have some ****ing perspective.

Might just be me but I think Cathcart's tackle to get booked will be one of the biggest points of our season. Hughes (I think it was him) was just about to get in to our box and he would have a fairly easy cut back to a Derby player to make it 3-2.

Tackle needed to be made and he really did take one for the team.

The only thing I like about them both is that you can see from their dead eyes that they are both deeply unhappy.

Adlene Guedioura gave a simply outstanding perfomance full of pace, power, guile and passion....he must have been completely exhausted

as for Watson, he nearly cost us another game...needs to be rested

Problem with Watson is that we haven't got a like for like replacement.

You do realise there is only 6 games left, right? I want nothing but the best for Layun at this club, but now is not the time for hoping he'll figure it out.

Hopefully the red card will be rescinded ,with 11 we would have won that , if it is rescinded would that be 4 out of 7 rescinded thats a lot of lost points!
Was really great to watch a watford side really guts out a result against the odds (and another idiot ref).

Is a shadow of the man who looked so assured and dominant in the first quarter of the season I'm afraid.

Watsons a holding midfielder.. And no better I think, than Toser or Munari In that position, he gets flustered under pressure and has cost us more than added.
Motta is being preferred to other tested and pretty proven wing/full backs we have and has offered us literally nothing. Whether it was a harsh red or not tonight his man skinned him!
Derby brought in Bent, Lingard and Ince to try and seal a promotion.. Fair play. We ve brought in Watson, Layun (runs all day but delivers nothing) Connelly (hope he ends up better than that last 20!) and Motta....
The one massive positive is we also brought in Guardioura PLEASE PLEASE splash some cash and buy him !! A downer... He's not availible for the playoffs so let's stuff these teesiders on Monday and get up early.

    Wonderful performance.

10 men, 2-1 down, away at Derby to come out with a point.

    Stunning.

I think the ref thought that the Derby players touch was a result of rather than coming before the challenge.

50/50 decision. TV cameras watching. Premier League red. Derby a big team. Wish to not have Watford in the Premier League. All thoughts in Kevin Friends mind at the time of the decision.

Fantastic battling display and a firm two fingers up at the establishment. Once again, the officials have tried to influence an important match in favour of the opposition, but at least this time we didn't feel sorry for ourselves, rolled our sleeves up, and got a deserved point.

Just as Bournemouth seem to be the darlings, Watford are most certainly the villain.

So pleased to have just survived tonight.

Judging from this I take it were in danger of going down. Which team has done better with their signings

I thought that was one of the most arrogant refereeing performances I've ever seen. I can't remember who it was (think it was Motta) but about half way through the first half one of our players appoached the ref to talk to him about a decision and received a proper two handed push away from the referee. If that had been the other way round there would've been uproar. You could also see that Troy tried to talk to him a few times as captain, and every time the bloke was so arrogant, waving his hand in his face or turning away. As soon as the pushing incident occurred, it was obvious that this was a referee who wanted the game to be about him and when Motta gave him a chance it was always going to be a red. Having said that, great performance from the lads and the body language at the end bodes well for Monday. COYH!

Fantastic spirit there, with Adlene and Troy our heroes tonight. They are both premier league players, no question in my mind. I've been a defender of Layun but he was truly poor tonight, we can't have the ball given away that much. He'll be supported by me as he plays his part but Anya is so much more of a threat down the wing.

    Can't wait for Monday's game

That was a tough watch. I hate watching on T.V, I don't know why I just feel so helpless! At least at the game you can shout a bit louder and try and encourage the team - and fair play to the Watford fans there tonight! Very loud again.

We completely controlled that until one dodgy moment, as everyone's said it wasn't a red card but it was nowhere near as bad as some of the other decisions we've had. Derby looked poor, they'll struggle for play-offs IMO.

AG, Cathcart, Angella, Deeney, Vydra, Gomes and Ighalo all brilliant. So much guts and fighting spirit.

Have to give Slav some credit. I feel if we'd got him in from the start of the year we'd be having a completely different season. He's implementing this spirit into the side that I can't remember in a Watford side of late. We set-up perfectly to stop Derby as well, the front 3 were completely nullifying Derby's ability to play out from the back and the full backs couldn't get forward - shame that was ruined by the red.

My only worry now is we'll be knackered for Monday. AG, Deeney & Watson in particular looked dead on their feet at 60 minutes.

Yes but then you're convinced their bloke controlled the ball when in fact the replays show it clearly went about 4yds away from him, and away from goal towards Cathcart no less, and he was never ever going to get a shot off.

You are fighting a losing battle with Kelso. Some decisions are a matter of opinion, today was a matter of fact. He did not deny a goal scoring opportunity. Anyone who disagrees is purely being obstinate, probably deliberately.

i disagree with everything in bold.

motta - I've actually been pretty impressed with him since he signed. yes, he let the man get the wrong side of him but occasionally that happens in football. its how goals are scored. all in all he has been pretty solid, and although he got a red today i think he was going for a block and just got it wrong.

watson - divides the opinion of many of the board, but i think he is a solid midfielder at this level. he does things that you don't always appreciate on the pitch, and i feel he has contributed greatly to our improvement in form since january. that being said i think he needs a rest.

connelly - what exactly did he do wrong tonight? he, along with the others in the defence did well to keep out derby for the last 15 minutes. don't understand why you would be disappointed with his cameo tonight.

I feel Connolly should have scored a cheeky hat trick tonight. As he didn't, he can take a seat for the remainder of the season IMO
