According to the site statistics on the home page, we are due our millionth post in the near future. Is there a prize for that? 'orns, perhaps? Or bragging rights?
I reckon, that as Moog's posts make up nearly 3% of all posts that it will be him that does the 1000000th post, so he'll have to massage himself which I'm sure he would have had plenty of practise!
It's like the Y2K bug. When the forum hits 1,000,000 post's it'll implode. I'd stop posting rubbish if I were you lot.:]]
But then nothing'll be posted! Then you'd have nothing to do here, making you more productive at work. Tell me, who'd want that eh?
218 posts needed to reach one million, and we're also one registered member away from 5,000. Also my twin brother comes home from two weeks away tomorrow. If we also beat Wigan tomorrow I may end up buying everyone a coffee.
Not at all I was refreshing oon the homepage every second and it was the computer games thread which was the first one to come up unread when 1,000,000 hit. If it was rigged I think I would have picked a better post to be fair. Maybe a more established member as well. It's as accurate as it's going to get and to be fair at least it was a propoer post ratehr than filler. In all honesty we probably hit 1,000,000 a few months ago when you consider database losses, moderated posts and deleted sections.
As accurate as I can be including deleted and moderated posts we hit 1,000,000 at post 158 on 05/09/14. Can't see how to search for that post though.
Or do what I did, click Activity stream, refresh home page to see how many posts there'd been then count backwards on the activity stream page. Most reliable method we've got, and it was deffo the computer games thread.
