It's horrible. Losing to **** teams with plastic fans and horrible, peacocking players.

Pearson has totally ****ed this up.

Great news! Nigel Pearson told a selection of fans to '**** off' tonight and decided to call one of them a ****!

    Yayayayay!!!! Premier League!

Filbert, would you rather be a mid table side in the Championship?

Seeing Filbert's posts there reminds me that if we don't go up, it's not a total disaster.

Call me deluded but I still think if we go up we will do the best out of the recent promoted teams

    How have the fans reacted/sided?

TBF Not sure you can accuse players of not trying - the results aren't great but been pretty close.

    Just not scoring enough goals.

Without going into mind-numbing detail, its pretty much split half and half. One side want Pulis in immediately, the others want the owners to respect what NP has done for the club and stick by him no matter what. This sweary outburst, which he has pretty much admitted to, has thrown plenty of fuel on the fire but hasn't really forced anyone to change their overall opinion of him. There's pressure on him to apologise now and the club are 'investigating' the incident.

In terms of how we're doing, I think Pearson has a lot to answer for. The incident the other night was brought about by a fan questioning the players commitment and NP taking exception to that. They've worked their knackers off but haven't got much to show for it and that's simply because the squad isn't good enough. Four of the back five excluding Morgan have been wretched all season, and Morgan himself has had two very bad games in succession now culminating in a red card. Cambiasso is the only player with the necessary experience and ability to pull us out of this mire but for some reason NP has started to play him in a two-man pairing in the centre and Cambi doesn't have the legs. Nigel has a gorgeous old Bentley and he's treating it like a tractor. Our summer transfer activity was also pretty pitiful, only Ulloa and Cambiasso have played. That leaves Nick Powell, Marc Albrighton (who looks awful) and Danny Simpson sat around scratching their balls while teammates playing in their positions do a very bad job of it.

I don't think we'll stay up and barring anymore public breakdowns I think Nigel should keep his job regardless. He's a good manager but he needs to learn a lot of lessons about working in the top-flight.

Personally I would love to see Pearson given the bullet just so he could be a monthly manager in January.

As it stands 5 minutes after half time Derby are 3-0 up, Ipswich 4-1 up and Middlesbrough 4-0 up. We're not going to be making ground up on them today.

Sorry to hear that, Filbert. Sounds like the story of our brief forays into the Prem.

Just looking at some of our rivals fixtures. Derby and Bournemouth have fairly easy games, Ipswich have some hard games but Boro's next four look pretty tough. A good chance for us to make back some points i'd say.

Watching the FLS (lol) and i'm baffled (and pleased) how Middlesbrough didn't win tonight, if Kike was less selfish they could've easily won 2 or 3 nil!

yep, twice he ran himself down a blind alley instead of squaring early to someone in space, and the shot instead of pulling it back to Leadbetter was just infuriating

I noticed that Forest (one of my early tips for promotion) haven't been doing much lately, so I've just done a quick totting up of their points. They gained 13 points in August but only 18 in September, October, November and December combined! Puts our own slump against Wolves into perspective.

To be fair to him, at Celtic he looked great (including scoring a brace against Barca I think?), as we've found out, it can be hard to move to a country you're not familiar with and have to adapt. I imagine most English/Scots are probably the worst at that change as well.

I'm really looking forward to Derby v Forest today. Is it sad that I shall be watching it whilst logged on to the Forest forum?

    Don't care.

Good game, actually. Derby are by far the best team and Forest wouldn't be in it if it were any team other than Derby.

    Derby 1 Forest 2 Osborn.

Good news. Can we take advantage to close the gap?

Bournemouth losing 1-0 away at Leeds at HT. Middlesborough drawing with Cardiff too. Presumably games brought forward due to the FA Cup 4th Round?
