2-0 Granada after an incredibly cheeky penalty from Siqueira. They've looked excellent in the last 15 or 20 mins. Should be a massive win for them now.

3-0 and buananotte. That should be enough to stay up.

Thoroughly deserved 3 points. Brahimi absolutely superb and MOTM. Buonanotte makes it 3. Very good player who should be a key player next season when they have longer to build him into the team.

Granada have shown big potential here though. Decision making much better which meant goals, their attacking talent hasn't been reflected in their goals scored. Next season I'd be looking at top half of the table for sure.

Fantastic result. Safe now? What's happened to Torje? Injured? Loss of form? Fallen out of favour?

3.0 and whilst Deportivo might get a win tomorrow I can't see them getting anything from the last two game so hopefully that'll be enough!

Watched a fair wedge of this one. Granada definitely deserved the points and played some good stuff! Great to see they're pretty much over the line :)

Not yet absolutely certain, but safety looks like 99% likely now. Well done, and it was a great match against Osasuna!
    Congratulation Rojo!
But it's clear you have some quite good players. Although in some matches either playing organization to have them work together seemed missing and in others defence seemed abysmal, it was clear it's not a relegation-bound team.
Alcaraz seems to have done a good job. I hope and think he'll be at the helm next season too, with more time to mould the team as he likes. What do you think?

Alcaraz started really bad, like a poor team with no ideas about how to play, but now, after a stay in Marbella, team is doing it right (Brahimi is an Europa League player, Siqueira is back, El Arabi has been recovered...) so maybe Alcaraz deserve another year.

In 30 minutes the 37 journey will start. ALL matches will play at this hour.

Granada will be saved if one of these things happen:

    - Granada wins at Valencia stadium.
    - Osasuna doesn't win receiving Sevilla.
    - Deportivo doesn't win at Malaga stadium.
    - Zaragoza doesn't win at Betis stadium.

One of these 4 things and we will be saved.

I'm guessing you beat Osasuna when you played them then?

    At half time:

    Valencia 0 - 0 Granada
    Osasuna 0 - 0 Sevilla
    Malaga 1 - 0 Deportivo
    Betis 2 - 0 Zaragoza

Yeah, 1-2 in Pamplona, 3-0 at Granada 2 weeks ago

Now Osasuna is losing too, 0-1. It really seems done, but official congratulations at FT, not to attract some absurd bad luck.

Oh ok, so if you are level on points it doesn't go to goal difference.

And now it's official. Well done, cousins!
In 2013/14 you'll play the third consecutive season in Liga!!!

As a reminder for our WFC cousins: in summer 2009 Granada CF was in third tier, financially unstable and it was 33 years since its last season in first tier (1975/76). Then the Pozzo's takeover.
Two consecutive promotions: from third to first tier in just 2 years.
Last year, safety at last match.
This year a little more confortable.
Very good times! With the hope of even better to come!

    Come on Granada!!!

:) Congratulations to Granada! It looked pretty secure after the Osasuna win, but now it is confirmed - celebrations can begin!

Ivan Kelava from Dinamo Zagreb? The rumour was true then. Good, he seems quite a good signing!

Granada 2-0 Getafe, Nolito and El Arabi scoring. Relegated teams: 20. Real Zaragoza 19. Deportivo La Coruna 18. RCD Mallorca. Granada finish 15th on 42 points 6 points from safety.

Also Ighalo came on as a late substitution, the fact he isn't starting could be a sign he is heading somewhere else?

(1/4) After confirmation from the City Council that land has been made available, here's a few images of the proposed new training complex.
