Great win! Looks like the "poor start for Pozzo's teams" cited in a thread here is somewhat fading lately.
Now, this evening, it's Udinese's turn in a difficult match away with Napoli which needs a win to keep pace with Juventus for the lead.
But all in all things seem to be improving.
Let's hope for the best for all the Trinity!

Oh, Rojiblanco, how is Torje doing? I see he scored but, all around? In serie A he seemed very talented but still "immature" and maybe physically frail.
I was glad for him he went to Liga to "grow" because it seemed more good for his characteristics. (while I guess in Championship he would be destroyed by fouls, physical play and red cards for alleged "diving").

Torje is a player that I enjoy. He is fast, he does well with Nyom, and he seems to be comfortable now. No doubt about that, Torje (as Arabi) has been in the last 4 goals (2 penalties against him and 2 goals, Arabi: 3 passes, 1 goal). And I think that, today's trick against Auoate in his goal is an awesome one.

Same points than Valencia, 3 points behind Madrid... :p

El Arabi has been doing well. He has impressed me. Unfortunately the Zebra's could not emulate Granada againt a high flying and skilful Napoli side who contest the lead of serie A with the old lady of corruption:

Granada CF 1-2 Zaragoza. Bad game without Brahimi, we need him.

Ighalo is back, El Arabi scored again.

Is the city council like many others in Spain short of finances ? Perhaps this is why they were arguing the **** for so long with the club. Anyway it all seems to have been resolved which is good news for our Andalusian brethren.

Thank god, no more problems with the council. Pina and Torres (the mayor) cant see each other and Granada suffers it. Its not the same in rest of Spain, where cities "rent" stadiums to clubs for 1€ and they pay everything (and take also everything of marketing, pubs...)

They've signed a new stadium contract 2 years long, a little better for Granada than last one.

    Tomorrow: Levante - Granada

    Levante 3-1 Granada.

Crowd is sick of this kind of game. People start asking for Anquela's dimissal, We still don't know what kind of football are we playing with a better team than last year.

Been looking at the next six fixtures (one a cup game, which they could well win) as for the five league games I can't see them getting more then six points from them? Having said that, who would have expected last nights win? So you never know?

A creditable defeat to a side high on confidence. Roji must be in despair right now. Still think they'll end up in midtable the way they've been playing is not of a side flirting with relegation unlike Betis for example who were tonked by Sevilla.

    I am :p

But suddenly Granada, as I think u try to say, is playing better (actually, playing better since the "robbed match" against Athletic, seems like it has been something that woke up the players. Also the Anquela's mother death RIP) and the points will come.

Now, we face good matches to get points: Valladolid (Away) - Español (Home) - Malaga (Away) - Real Sociedad (Home). I think we can get, at least, 6 points.

Yebda is finally ok, Benitez is the "old" Benitez (the good one), Siqueira plays better with him, Brahimi, Torje and El Arabi are incredible players, Nyom is making his best season... I think too what we will end up in mid table :)

Vallodolid away can be tough with the support they have but I reckon two wins a draw and a defeat. Espanyol are all over the shop and Sociedad are not convincing on their travels. Malaga away ? That to me looks like the hardest game on paper. You never know. The team has been unlucky in recent games not to pick up more points.

Nothing to get worried about at this stage. Vamos Granada !

Yes, it seems his personality is downsizing his skills.
Rumors give it for sure that Udinese and Genoa have found an agreement for Flores to Genoa in exchange for 2M€ and half of Alexander Merkel, in January, if Flores agrees.

Good thing Alexander Merkel is not moving to Greece. There could be riots in the stands....

umpf, joking about the English of a poor foreigner!
    ;)

    "signing Naldo, in June!"

But from following news, it seems he'll be "nominally" signed by Granada, but destination is Udinese.
I don't know if by loan or what, probably in order to avoid the limit of extra-EU players signings allowed.
Or maybe just waiting one year: Spain has an "easy naturalization", and a Southamerican can have Spanish citizenship just after 2 years of residence. One year only, if he has a Spanish parent or grandparent.
I guess this is another good reason for the Pozzos to own Granada. :naughty:

A 4-0 drubbing for our Andalusian brethren. Saviola seems to be regaining his mojo under Pellegrini.

Finally, an important win away for Granada, against Osasuna direct contender for safety!

Good win for them today....after going a goal down early on. They are at the top of their little group of strugglers, but only by a point. Fingers crossed they'll go on a good run now.

Yousef El-Arabi will be on duty with Morocco at the ACON and should they make the final be out for at least 4 league matches.

Any news, thoughts on cousin Granada Cf for tonights away match at getafe? My research says that under 3 goals is on the cards and will make that a forum bet.

Any reasons why this may not be a good bet?
