Hello good evening and welcome to any new members who have joined over the festive season, and any one else I have not said welcome to. Happy New Year to you all :drinking:
Hello, Another newbie here. Stumbled upon this forum when I was looking for info on transfers/signings this month. I've been supporting Watford for a few years now but only made it to my first game on Tuesday - shameful, I know! I'm based in Newcastle term-time but I'm hoping to catch as many games as possible from now on whenever I'm back home. Cheers
Hi all. Stumbled across this forum while looking at train details to the City Ground. Registered straight away. Been a Watford fan for many a year. Live just up the road in Hemel. Buz
Welcome! I may well see you on one of those trains (if my local Forest-supporting friend isn't going to the game, that is).
Hello all! Been a long time reader of this forum, thought I would start to contribute! Have had a season ticket since 2002 (Ray Lewingtons first season in charge) and go to as many away games as possible. Exciting times at the Vic at the moment, can feel play offs in May! COYH
Are all your posts going to be as negative as that -wfc are going up automatically!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jumping1::drinking::sign15:
Welcome back! Out of curiosity, how did you change your headline? I'm stuck with being a 'First Team'er.
You need to win or earn a custom usertitle, or please me in some way.:naughty: If I remember correctly VR used to have a David Walliams Avatar and I was trying to be clever.
Just replied to your post on Vydra compilation, but welcome again. Are you an ex-pat, or a true blue Aussie?
Hi everyone been looking here and enjoying the banter/comments now I'm having a go myself. I am 57 and have supported the Hornets all my life but must say the football so far this season has been the best I have ever seen from a Watford side. Shame about last night, not a great fan of rotation 2 or 3 games a week should be no problems for 18-20 year olds. I think chaloba and Vydra too influential to be sat watching the game from the bench
Thanks for getting back to me. I can't do a signature there, but there's an option to change my avatar. Maybe I have to post a certain amount of times to have a signature...?
Under the 'My Profile' title, there should be Edit Profile Edit Profile Picture Edit Avatar Edit Signature Profile Privacy If you don't have all them then I'd guess your minimum post idea is probably right!
Hello, nice to find a Watford forum, the offcial web site isnt so good building some dialogues. I was about 14 or 15 years old when it said bang! The day I understood that i always searched for ONE teams results first, the day i became a Watford fan. The climb from 4th DIV, GT, Elton John etc. Aswell as Watford beeing a small club i often referred to my home towns soccer and icehockey team in the same sit., climbing up but often in a feeder club pos. I met Watford 1988 when they did a preseason tour true Sweden and then took that ferry over from Umeå to my hometown Vaasa in Finland. I had travelled over to Umeå and waited for the team,,,managed then by Dave Bassett. John McClelland was a classy capitaano, did take me as his son and took me with the team 120 km to Jakobstad where Watford met JARO and won 5-0 Blissett scoring in 2nd minute with a huge shot from 35 yards. Now i am 45 and started to follow WTF again more actively. Ordered just total away kit and othe stuff...the Iveco homeshirt from and socks i have worn out cause they where washed too often ( i played a lot of soccer as young ) Must admit i have some problems to fit in that Watford hoodie. I was invited to go to Watford (train with apprentices and work for club ) but i met my wife just 2 weeks after that so i didnt go. Now we got 4 kids and i plan to visit Vic 1st time 29.3 and possible take a trip up to Hull so i can see those two crucial games for the promotion! Have seen 2 games via internet and i must say team are playing wonderful. Nice to find other Watford fans around the globe. I havent a clue how many we are in Finland. In 1988 JARO vs WTF we where two who sat there with Watford items on the neck.
