Greetings, but tbh at 877 posts you're not exactly new. At 1 post you had a feint whiff off offness:biggrin:
OK, I´ll chip in and finally say hello! I´ve been registered for a while but just lurked around in the background! I´ve followed the Horns all my 33 years. I´m an English ex-pat living on the east coast of Spain for the last 5 years or so but I was born in Aylesbury but lived most of my life in Shropshire, so I´m used to following from a distance! I probably won´t be the most prolific of posters but I´ll be around none the less. Please to finally meet you all!
Whenever I can find a feed online I do, or if thelocal English bar decides to show it, but I have Hornets Player so I make good use of that! I have eyes and ears at the Vic thanks to my Uncle who sits in the Rookery, everything else is gleamed from the web!
Welcome, a mate of mine lives in Majorca and he tunes into all sorts of stations all over the world through his computer and can find a feed for more or less any football that is being broadcast anywhere in the world. I don't know how he does it, but if you are any good on computers you should be able to do the same.
Hello, I'm Alex. I was looking for some nice pictors of ladys but got drunk and fell in here by mistake.
I started supporting WFC after years as a boy supporting Chelsea. My dad and I tried to get out of the shed at the end of the game and west ham were coming up into the shed! Total carnage and my dad wouldnt go there anymore. So as I lived in Carpenters Park I had to go to see WFC get relegated into Div 4. Bit of a shock after watching Ossie, Chrissy Garland, Hutch, Charlie Cooke etc. Felt a connection as my local team so kept going, and hey worked out fine. Lived in Reading, Banbury, Oxford, Oswestry, Chelmsford, hardly missed a home game and go away as well. Made sure my shropshire nephews had WFC kit at xmas etc. Hence Gaz mentioned above in Spain, still follows WFC. Moving to Upper Rous this season, will still sing tho!
I live in Reading and my sister lives in Oswestry, so we should have something to talk about should we ever meet
Thank you for the welcome snowylad and Voice of Reason, yes I have my links and streams so I´m able to find most things I need, when WFC are being broadcast I can find it somewhere. Rule noted Hornmeister sir, no posting of streams! :angel3: And yes, in case you had not joined the dots, Heider Hyde is in fact my uncle!
Support the Horns since the 84 cup final as that was my first real game I sat down to watch and my dad said always support the underdog! Don't know anyone form the watford area and only get to a few games a season so I get online to hear what's going on, rumours, fans views etc. Only discovered this website a few months back...and it's just what a long distant fan needs!
I lived in Shinfield 1978-80, used The Oak pub, is it still there? In shropshire lived near Knockin and the famous Knockin shop! When Gaz started school found the headmaster came from Watford. It is amazing how many ex horns you meet. Found a rabid L***n fan at work. We became great mates and went to Luton v Watford with him. He had to keep on saying "not you tho" after every insult he shouted at the away end.
many times i have come here to watford from drcongo.but not for long times hello to all my friend this is my goati now always support watford but boo the sierra leone kikki boy bangura happy smiles my friend happy smile
Hello, After growing up just outside Watford and supporting the team from as long as I can remember I moved to the wilderness of Devon aged 8 and have been searching for fellow Watford fans ever since. I finally found this place, who new there were so many of us. Great to be in the company of people who support the same team! Have since moved back to London and go to as many games as possible and drag along as many mates as I can! Hope to see you all down the Rookery!
I noticed that earlier, he joined at 1:05 in the morning. Probably been out celebrating and wanted to come troll.
A friend of mine from Bulgaria called Branimir Belchev will be signing up today..Years ago I used to send him programmes and in return he used to send me Football pennants from all over the world...He has been a Watford fan from a kid.I have introduced him to this site.
Hi everybody, Just to present myself in few words - a loyal Watford fan since 1983 when 10 years old I saw Levski Sofia vs Watford in UEFA Cup. After those matches John Barnes became my childhood hero even though it was difficult to watch British games on TV...you know - the iron curtain. Filled with nostalgia Watford into Europe again!
Nice to see you again Branimir,I always remember that photo of you in your army outfit and the watford scarf proudly presented above your head, how time flies.
