    Watford are to sign Bournemouth Goalkeeper and Left-Back Shwan Jalal and Rhoys Wiggins respectively, but the deal is expected to collapse if Bournemouth get promoted to the Championship.

    Duncan Frombleau, a 33 year old left back from Championnat de France amateur team AS Lyon-Duch re, is to have trials with Championship side Watford during the close season. Despite having retired several seasons ago to persue other careers he helped out his boyhood club towards the end of the current season and those displays didn't go unnoticed by Malky Mackays scouts.

    'Watford have taken giant Norwegian defender Haivis Veste on trial with a view to a permanent deal. Veste, who plys his trade in Sweden with FC Kiruna has caught the attention of Watford scouts with a series of commanding displays in the Swedish 'Allsvenskan' league. Veste would certainly provide stature to the Hornet's defence standing a commanding 6ft 10ins in his stockinged feet.     Dale Bennett ('Emma' to his teammates due to his obsession with the soap Emmerdale - extra little tidbit for everyone there that I found out when I was sat next to a table of Watford players in Nando's recently) is being tracked by Wigan, Cardiff and QPR. Watford got him to sign a new 2 year deal at the beginning of the month so they would recieve a larger fee.

    It's believed the lucrative play as you pay deal that was close to taking Theo Walcott to Watford has broken after sources close to the club, and very similar to that of ImRonBurgundy (potentially even the same source), had revealed shocking doubts into Tommy Smith's paternity of academy starlet Connor. Walcott, horrified by the tv soap like drama at the club pulled out of the deal at the last minute, which too may effect the signing of Haivis Veste, who had stood out as a potential early summer signing. New WFC owner Laurence WfcThroughandThrough was unavailable for comment.

    Watford will struggle to keep graham, loach and cowie. Graham will leave for west ham or qpr for £6million, Cowie will go to blackpool for £2.5million and loach will be gone to newly promoted norwich but watford will pay the fee off £500k. On the other hand in a mad panic of cash inflow mackay will sign for west ham, dyche will loan david beckham and keep ellington on a £25k a week new deal for his efforts at watford

    You really are quite up yourself aren't you? As stated on the other thread about Hendo where you tried getting a dig in, the rumour of it happening is not based at all on when his contract ends. It is based on a conversation that has taken place. My assumption that his contract finishes this summer aided it, the fact that he has another year left does nothing to suggest the transfer won't be discussed further.

    I'm not up myself at all and I don't for one minute doubt your vast in the know credentials.

    All that I am doing is copying Watford related rumours that someone else has contributed to this site.

    I have been reliably informed that Beckham will join Watford when his contract at LA Galaxy expires in January 2012.

    EDIT: His contract with LA Galaxy actually expires in June 2011.

    DOUBLE EDIT: His contract expires after the MLS Playoffs in November 2011.
