Yes, was about to say the same thing. Bizarre!

From their point of view I'd put the City of Culture between the sticks with the Humber Bridge as a solid back line. The Housemartins in midfield giving Heaton the opportunity to play 'in the hole' and liase with Larkin who can be doing something strange and indecipherable as part of a front two which also includes the 'Tower in Grimsby' on the horizon who is a 'solid presence' who the ball can be hoofed up to in extremis.

My sister lived there. I don't believe they have the internet yet. Tracey Thorn is still #1 in Hull.

    Hull 1-2 Watford

    Swansea lose/draw

Mathematically safe by 5pm and only 2 points behind last season's total with 5 games to go.

Funny you say that actually. I had a mate at uni who was from Hull, and was a Hull City fan too and he literally had no presence online, or in any form of technology. He had an old Nokia phone which he never used, only for emergencies, didn't have Facebook, or anything form of social media, and didn't have a laptop. So you might not be far from the truth. Since leaving university none of my friends have had any contact from him, it just seems like there is 40 year time difference there compared to everywhere else in the UK (apart from Scotland).

We used to call him Shorts, because, well, he always wore shorts. Whatever the occasion and whatever the weather. That might just be him though and not everyone from Hull!

    that's quite simply impossible.

Mazzarri is clueless, the fans hate him and the owners are about to sack him because we're on the verge of relegation.

    Didnt you get the memo?

Perhaps he gave you a fake name because he thought you were a bunch of weirdos.

Their recent home form is impressive but they have also played alot of average sides. I'd be quietly disappointed if we didn't get a win here - but I'd take an entertaining game as we're safe now.
Although Amrabat ran the game against Hull last time out.

Would love a win to end their unbeaten streak at home. All things considered I'd take a draw though

He did but he lucked out being up against a makeshift left back who was naive enough to keep falling for Amrabat's one trick of holding the defender's shirt and then rolling them. He's been penalised a few times for this recently, I'm wondering whether it's been highlighted in a referee's meeting. Without being allowed to do it, Amrabat loses a lot of his effectiveness.

I agree this does seem to be the case. However, if refs are having these meetings, why doesn't Dembele from Tottenham get penalised every time he has the ball? He always grabs shirts and pushes platters away when he is in possession. Maybe Amrabat should be a bit more subtle.

Exactly. On the wing on your own is more obvious than in the centre of the park with lots of bodies.
Dembele is also a world class player, genuinely. And to be honest it's actually quite enjoyable watching him do his thing.

I hope refs don't stop it! Ha!
