What a truly special, once in a lifetime athlete and sports personality this man is. Classy in every sense of the word.
Followed up his incredible Australian Open success with victory at Indian Wells tonight, beating Wawrinka in straight sets. This is after absolutely pummelling his old Nemesis Nadal in the last 16 - having obviously also beaten him in the Aussie final - and who after all these years he may have finally got the measure of.
Aside from being the clear greatest of all time based on titles and accomplishments alone, he is further cementing that fact with his unbelievable comeback this year and the fact he is somehow still improving his game at 35 years of age. His backhand has hit a new level and is enabling him to take even greater control and impetus of his matches and he looks as quick around the court as he ever has done, both of which are just ridiculous at his age and this stage of his career.
Here's to hoping he can keep it up for another few years yet and win a few more big ones. Will be a sad day for tennis and sport in general when he does eventually have to retire.

Sorry, thought you were talking about Roger Fleming, god rest his soul, though I suspect he would probably enjoy the other place more.

Naturally very fit which helps and in a way doesn't have to run around like some of the others do and manages to keep his control and calmness under pressure.
Remarkable I agree.
His fluid style has allowed him extra longevity, plus sensible scheduling.
Got a slice of luck last night when the umpire called a Stan serve out.It hit the line,Stan didn't challenge and RF broke to win the first set.
Agreed. Superb talent and player.
I've heard he can be a little difficult behind the scenes but probably to be expected where you're 110% focussed.
