Very true but we all do don't we at times.

I presume we can keep all the loan signings throughout the season if they prove to be very good rather than these other 2 clubs deciding to take them back...and if it doesn't work out for some can they be sent back?

I too am quite excited about the season ahead. We may take time to gel but the Championship is a very long season. You never want to start slowly, but as Reading proved last year, how you finish is much more important! It's maybe worth noting that none of our 8 new signings played more than 20 games each last season. Either that means they will all be fresh or maybe some will tire noticeably as the long season develops.

I don't have any problems with us having so many (overseas) loan players. Last season we had 7 loanees. Some came only for a very brief time (Weimann, Trotta, Beattie etc). These are here for the season and by October, I'm sure they will really feel like WFC players as we will have become used to them.

The only slight reservation with them all coming from overseas is how well they will settle. Yes they are all experienced sportsmen and they are already used to being moved around as they have all already been loaned out to other clubs since joining Udi/Granada..but they will all now have to get used to England, to our culture, to our language and ofc to our Championship. They will now be playing in a culture where 3 games a week are not uncommon and where the players even train on Christmas Day. They will be away from their friends and probably their families, living in temporary accomodation. Our changing room, which appeared settled last season, is now welcoming Swiss and Czechs and Spaniards and Cameroons.

Personally I think it's a very exciting time and I can't wait for the new season but it's worth just taking an overview of the situation too, realising that huge changes are taking place to our playing squad and changing room environment and appreciating that Rome wasn't built in a day and that it's likely not all our new signings will settle and succeed as fast as others will do.

Don't forget there are signing on fees to pay for the Goalie and Fits all and probably loan fees to pay for the others including transport, accommodation costs and we have taken on a lot of extra staff what was it signed 7 players in one day and took on a lot of extra staff (wasn't it about 11 before that) They won't be on low wages

True - but save for anything to Almunia / Hall - it is all "circular group money" - Pozzo group were paying the wages of the 6 - so not a "real cost" other than a bit of travel and accommodation which won't be a bank breaker

There is no point charging fees for moving the players between the 3 clubs; it would be rightly classified as income, and thus eligible for tax.

The Pozzos own all three clubs, so they're not going to expose themselves to more tax via loan fees. It would make no sense.

Disagree there, an expense for us would turn into income for the loaning club, so when you balance one from the other it is the same thing, although you could say it is really " paper pushing " I would imagine small favours may happen, but only small ones! What would be the point of the other two clubs purchasing players and paying their wages to lend them to us for nothing?.

Bizarrely - it would probably pay the Pozzos to pay us a development fee for taking the players - because with our tax losses there will be no cash tax cost in the UK and Udinese with the Sanchez transfer fees etc must be tax payers in Italy

now i am very happy at the position we are in but as 6 of those are loans from our sister clubs i dont think we should get angry at the obvious chants of feeder club references next year.
However it does worry me a bit we havent bought in any long term signings who we are going to be able to call our own.
For the first time ive just got a little inkling of nervousness about loosing our identity.
I hope we are building a great team to take us right up first go and then building WFC and then we are going to invest in Watford players.
Again dont get me wrong the clubs attached to us are great but some club players would also be good.
i`m worried to because all the signing are all for one season, so by the end of this season the club will be looking to bring in another 8 players + but i guess its something we have to get use to like Granada has and when we make the prem we can start signing some outstanding players to bring on and sale.
Just one little thing and also worry`s me is they can take our real great players away for nothing Eg Murray if he does really well this season will he be loan out to granada or Udinese

1.) They saved us from administration/liquidation
2.) They are giving us all these players who some are worth multimillion's of pounds
3.) Finally get to see some quality football
    I hope you are right!!!!
