Prediction League 2012/13

Goign to be a bit simpler this year.

Each week I'll post 5 league matches. It may contain midweek matches, will contain all WFC matches and will try and stick to Championsip only.
You need to predict the score to each match.
You'll have until KO of the first match that week to make your prediction.

Points are awarded as follows:

10 points for predicting the correct score
If you don't get the right score but get the correct result you'll get 5 points
If you don't get the right socre or result you'll get a bonus 2 points (total) if you correctly predicted either or both team's number of goals.

So there's a maximum of 50 points per week.
It runs for 33 weeks.

There's a £10 winner takes all mini comp which will be announced later.

Format for entries will be as follows, any deviation from this format may render the entry invalid

For each match state the number of home team goals followed by a hyphen - symbol followed by the away team goals

no spaces
no repeating team names
and no other text in you post please
Please ensure each match prediciton is on a new line.

Would it not make it more interesting to have something other than just championship games?

Possibly. Although with the knowledge on ere it does make it more skill than luck based. That's not set in stone, will see how it goes along. I've preloaded the spreadsheet with all watford league games so there will be weeks with two watford games, but also weeks off when it's the cup.

I'll leave the cup games for another comp if people wish to run one.

Also I forgot to mention in the event of a tie it's the person who entered first who wins.

Is there the bonus preditions thread or section? Like last time where we predicted the FA Cup winner/Prem winner etc. Or was that not part of the prediction league?

Not this year trying to simplify a bit, but also leave those to anyone else that wants to run another comp.

if one predicts correctly both teams number of goals, would that not constitute a correct score does the bonus 2 points get added?

No It's a first come first served system so if you've already got 10 points, that's it no extras.
