    Default Spot fixing

Claus Lundekvam clearly didn't understand the ramifications of this admission:

IFA now investigating. He may have earned himself a chat with the police as well. Who says footballers are stupid?

He says he knew it was illegal. Also says he had a battle with drugs. Maybe he wanted to come clean?

Even Matt Le Tissier has publicly admitted to going into a game with the intention of spot fixing. The only questions are whether it was systemic, and if so whether Southampton were worse than other clubs.

TBH It wouldn't be a surprise but as UEA says not the sort of thing you want to admit.

I am sure the papers would have picked up on this though had it been that serious.

Just read about it. He went to kick it out for a throw and someone who didn't know about it chased and headed it stopping it from going out. He got it out in enough time that he didn't lose any money but didn't gain any either

I'm sure Watford under Boothroyd were playing at that game. Kick off and lump it straight out of play every time.
