For those of you that don't have twitter, or just can't be bothered to look at it, I thought it maybe helpful to see Kevin Affleck's timeline of tweets.

It starts as statements, then then turns into answering other people's tweets. I've not included their questions, as I believe the answers explain what must have been said. I've tried to keep this just to the relevant tweets.

I'll update, as and when there is anything new.

Big week for #watfordfc. Owner missed deadline on sat to guarantee funding of club for next 12mnths. Missing new weds date will spark change

V positive. Can't say too much at this sensitive stage about #watfordfc new owner but will reveal more soon.

New owner lined up ready to take over. Bassini may be out by end of week. Needs to guarantee funding of circa 11m.

Info is from sources close to the deal. Significant week for #watfordfc, I'm told. Bassini described as 'phoney' and 'potless'

Latest #watfordfc information I'm told is that Elton John is 'likely' to sever remaining connections with the club.

I crave the truth - not attention. Truth is difficult for some to digest,particularly if it's consumed at same time as humble pie.

Took the WO long enough, huh. Would they have reported it had I not served up for free a juicy full **** outside off stump?

thanks for the summary , he was always a good reporter at the wobby , he did go digging and found stuff no one liked and got forced out ! Todays wobby is so weak !and prints the party line , I remember the days when the wobby had investigative journos.

Well with HB1s post of those comments, if nothing happens Affleck has zero credibility in future. But if he is anywhere near correct the WO's total silence means THEIR crdibility is shot.

They've been having little digs at each other. Affleck has said 'he knows' we're getting taken over, and so, as you say his rep will be destroyed if this is wrong, which makes you think he must be right.

The Observer has been a bit timid since KA left precisely because he almost (did?) land them in court with the club. So they're rather more circumspect. They do appear to have been caught on the hop with this, though. If it is true.

TBF A small local paper cannot keep being threated with court action..the lawyers fee must have been expensive on both sides.

Affleck also having digs saying how slow the WO, with Anthony Matthews mentioned, and said they were still using his stories 18 months after he left. Heating up! Be interesting to see who's right whoever is wrong will be slaughtered.

I don't see where - in his May 28th comments - he mentions GT leaving. He may be on to something but the whole "lining up to apologize" bit makes him seem a phoney. Maybe something is happening but he's not in the know - I am sure of that.

He never mentioned anything about GT - merely claiming victory because his vague statement about "something significant" happening.

Re: GT exit, *if* he has been sacked by Baz, pretty sure that means the bonds have become payable immediately.
