Competition rules.

First 32 people to reply in the entry thread get in.

On competition commencement I will allocate at random a European country for you and likewise for a randomly selected opponent.

You then have to post a youtube clip of a song or singer related to that country in the thread I create for your battle. If the link isn't obvious please explain. Once both clips are posted voting will be open for 1 week to forum members to see which is the best song.

Songs/singers must have a link to your allocated country and must not have been used as an official Eurovision entry in the past or in a previous round of this game.

The winner of the battle goes into the next round where a new country and opponent will be allocated to you and the process repeated until we have an overall winner.

It has to have some link. In the words, the nationality of the singer/band etc. If it's not obvious you have to justify the link.

Round one matches made. There's a couple of 3 way battles due to entry numbers. Once all entrants in a battle have posted a link I'll put a poll up open for a week.
The next round your new allocated countries will be from Germany onwards.

Bit tenuous. I'd say no, the song / singer or lyrics need to have a link. Seem my Albania one for an idea.
