When we're 3-0 down I'll be out and on the train before everyone else anyway.

Well there's 4 of us so it's a sherbert dab in from Brighton, and the same out again. Sod the local trains. Should be nice and cosy for the fast train from Brighton back to London.

Yeah it's doable. You can get the 25 from Village Way outside the stadium, but it will be very busy i'd imagine, or you could walk to the A27 and pick up the less frequent but quicker and less busy 28/29 from the front of falmer station. All buses will take you to churchill sq and you'll have to do the reverse walk to the station (10 mins).

Does anyone know what the best options are for parking if you're driving to Brighton?
Parking is not cheap in Brighton, so you might have to park out of town a bit and walk in, in order to save cash.
You could park for free in the Hanover region of town, but you won't get any closer to the town.
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?client...en&sa=N&tab=wl (if that hasn't worked just do a search for Hanover Brighton on google maps).
...and then pick up one of the buses from Lewes Rd (A270). The routes can be found here:

...or it's a 20 minute walk to the station. Otherwise you're looking at anywhere up to 15 pounds for a days parking in Brighton.
Failing that I would say park and ride from Mithras House is a good option, but obviously i've never actually experienced it.

All sold out. Cool.

there are also the park and rides near brighton run by bhafc but the nearest is a real liability. arrive there 2 hours and apparently it's almost full.
here's a decent link for the P&Rs, you need to phone up the watford ticket office for park and ride vouchers (£1.50 each) but at your own risk (and i don't just mean valuables)

Spoke to a Reading fan at work today who went to the match on Tuesday. He said if you are relying on the train then you MUST leave bang on the final whistle, and when you exit the South Stand turn LEFT for the short route to Falmour station, not right as many do.
If your having to purchase "travel vouchers" for the park and ride, how can you not get a spot within the parking?
Never had so much difficulty on where do I park for an away day. Normally I just turn up and find somewhere for a fiver or if I have to use the park and ride....this seems ridiculous.
I dunno whether to gamble on that or buy one of these travel vouchers and getting the park and ride which sounds like its not even guaranteed. Would really appreciate someone elses' view or even better someone else driving down. Cheers for any help
A top day/night out. Just coming back now. Roll on next season, they are not good enough to go up.
The train was alright in the end. It took no more than 10 minutes from leaving the ground to being on the train. I couldn't do that all season though.
