local Bristol papers still going mental about Tuesday night. No mention of how decent we were though, more 'how on earth could we lose to Watford, we'll all crap!'

I have no doubt we aim to sign him on a perm - nor do I disagree with said aim. I just don't think it is likely we can make it happen taking into consideration he's out of contract and a very good keeper. Even if he doesn't play in the Euros I find it unlikely we'll get him. We have done everything we can by bringing him in now. But realistically all we can do is hope he enjoys Watford so much that money and ambition don't matter much to him. Whether it is a larger Championship club or a premiership club, someone will come in for him. I am sure of it.

I'm hearing reports that he is really enjoying life at Watford. That really counts for something, as some players have ambitions and look for a good, progressive club to play for. Believe me, from what I have heard, it's not so unlikely him signing as many may think. But I agree there will be other clubs in for him in the summer.
