It will be a hard fought game, it is imperative that we do not underestimate a depleted Coventry side who are battling for safety. Hopefully Dyche does his job and make sure that the boys aren't complacent.

Scrappy, ugly game with eustace with the winner with 12 minutes left.

I never feel confident in games where were expected to win so I predict a 3-1 loss tommorow.

    Default Ooops

I think the odds on one or more red cards are pretty good!

I feel that although we dont tend to do well with these games, we will still win it 2-1

Definite loss, it just a question of how much.

No team can lose every game, Coventry are due a win and I think they will get it.

    McGinn on the bench today?
Can't honestly see it myself. Probably just getting him involved in the match-day build up?

At a rather damp Vicarage Road now ready for #watfordfc v Coventry! Stephen McGinn being put through his paces on the pitch at the mo.

Can understand people feeling nervous..a side with no away win all season could be due one soon!..but our record against sides down the bottom isn't bad this season with just that early blip against Forest. The form book suggests a home win and if we want to show the progress we are making ,this is just the sort of match we must win.

I think McGinn has been doing extra work on matchdays for a few weeks now.

On our season in the Prem, didn't Cov come to us without an away win, thinking they were going to break their duck against little old Watford and we gave them a pasting.
    Heading in just one direction!

Assombalonga apparently becomes the 50th graduate from our academy to make a first-team debut.

Let's hope he has a great game. Dyche has done well this season but his achilles heel has been the strikers he has signed. Let's see if one of our own can put his forward signings to shame!

I have seen Assoombalonga play a few times, he is fecking quick and powerful for his age.

The club have very high hopes for this lad.

Good Luck in your Watford career Assombalonga. Now let's all do the conga.

Can't even put a bet on Assombalonga to be first goalscorer as skybet doesn't have him on their first goalscorer list so will have to put a bet on Massey at 10 to 1.

I think we will scrape this one 2-1 (Massey or assombalonga & Deeney).

Assombalonga starting! Didn't see that one coming but am so happy for him hope he has a great game and scores on his home debut. No Trotta on the bench though so I'm assuming he's going back or has already done. Never mind, would much rather blood one of our own. COYH!!!
