Watford are still without long-term absentees Stephen McGinn and Martin Taylor. Following the end of the loan spell of Michael Kightly, he has returned to his parent club - Wolves, meaning Craig Forsyth will be in contention for a start against the Royals following his brace in the FA Cup 3rd round 4-2 win over Bradford last weekend. Scott Loach returns from suspension following his red card against Portsmouth on the 2nd January, meaning Dyche will have to choose between Loach and Jonathan Bond, who will make his full home league debut if selected.
WATFORD Starting XI vs Bradford (W 4-2):
Bond
Doyley Mariappa Nosworthy Dickinson
Yeates Eustace Hogg Forsyth
Deeney Sordell
Subs: Bonham, Thompson, James, Buaben, Jenkins, Iwelumo, Garner
Reading appear to have a relatively full compliment to select from for their journey to Vicarage Road, with ex-Hornets Jobi McAnff and Brynar Gunnarsson likely to be named in the squad.
READING Starting XI vs Stevenage (L 0-1):
Federici
Cummings Pearce Gorkss Harte
Tabb Leigertwood Robson-Kanu McAnuff
Church Le Fondre
Subs: Anderson, Mills, Morrison, Gunnarsson, DAth, Anonio, Manset
10/09/11 Reading 0-2 Watford
19/02/11 Reading 1-1 Watford
20/11/10 Watford 1-1 Reading
24/04/10 Watford 3-0 Reading
26/09/09 Reading 1-1 Watford
09/01/09 Reading 4-0 Watford

Following such a convincing display earlier in the season away at the Madjeski earlier this season, Watford will be looking to secure 3 more important points at the fortress that Vicarage Road seems to have become in recent weeks. With such a strong line-up to choose from with Nosworthy signing permanently, I expect the defensive partnership to remain strong, and Watford to put one or two in at the other end. Watford 2-0 Reading.
