    Sounds like a real classic..NOT!

Suppose the draw isn't bad for us but need to on Tuesday.

A point is better than none, but then again not as good as all 3. Could get a job on MOTD with cack like that couldn't I!

Seemed a similar game to 'boro to be honest, toothless up front and not in any particular danger at the back, giving the one real chance away which Sharp luckily missed. Pleased the defence again looked solid as that was a worry not that long ago but a little concerned that we never challenged at all up front without Sordell on the pitch. Beattie seemed to be on his last legs at the end as well, hopefully Marv will not be out for too long as we do need the pace. Suppose Garner could come in from the cold though on Tuesday if we want a similar format.

Tuesday will be hard now though, seeing their result today against the leaders will certainly boost them.

This is a game we needed to win, if we're serious about staying up. That we failed to do so really shows how far we've come under Dyche, which is, not very.

Well Southampton didn't get any penalties which helped them.

Their new manager is good and Maynard will always get goals.

Burnley were 2 down at Hull..but came back!

Wish we'd taken a punt on McInnes

I guess today was a useful point on the road..but we look so toothless in attack away..Donny have conceeded 30 this season..

Doesn't help when Jenkins, Deeney and Beattie are our options off the bench to try and grab a goal...

Still find it unbelievable that the likes of Murray and even more so Whichelow aren't getting the slightest look in, he was the sort of player that could come on and change things last season, and I'd certainly have more faith in Garner getting us a goal than Beattie or Deeney.

I wouldn't. He looks equally goalless to me.

Difference is Garner's only spent a couple of months not scoring for us (and barely playing at all), Deeney's spent almost a couple of years not doing it and Beattie's spent basically his whole career not really scoring very much.

Good result today. Quality definitely was lacking especially up top, but defensively mapps and nosworthy were solid again. Hodson had a couple of shakey moments but again would stick with him over doyley. Eustace looked really comfortable on the ball so hoggy might find himself on the bench on Tuesday. All in all 1 goal conceded in 4 games is a good solid base to work from so I'm happy. PS we def need something different up front tho.

An incredibly boring game. Donny were terrible and with a bit of ambition we could have taken the points. It was a game someone like Garner could have thrived in, but Beattie and Iwelumo were never going to offer a goal threat. Iwelumo was poor today, no doubt about it, but the cheering when he was taken off shows just how many idiots Watford have in their fan base. Idiotic behaviour.

Loach didn't have a lot to do.
The back four were relatively comfortable.
Eustace was fine, the Prince was a bit hit and miss.
Yeates and Kightly were both poor today and were very reactive and seemed half asleep.
Iwelumo was poor but made to look worse by the two wide boys not anticipating where the ball would be flicked to.
Princess looked ok until she decided it was too cold and went off.
Beattie looks like he needs a holiday.

We looked happy enough with the point which was a shame. I'm sure most would have taken a point before the game but as the game wore on we could have shown a bit more ambition and gone for the points.

Every game we play, I am reminded more and more of the Lewington era. Just with more cash.

Just can't see how we are going to win games when there is no creativity in the side. Today was a perfect example of why we should have 1 of the youngsters at least on the bench. When marvin went off there was no pace and no threat. Can't see the point in Beattie he offered very little.

It is going to be a long season and I think we witnessed 2 of the bottom 3 today.

Hogg was suspended today and McGinn will be available in the New Year. If we can get ourselves to 30 points by 2 Jan (when we will lose Kightly and Nosworthy) we should be OK.

I think Hogg is a good player but I don't think he creates much an McGinn will have been out for 18 months so will probably take until the end of the season to get fit.

Maybe it was just the dullness of today's game but that is now 9 games we have not scored in and today after a couple of chances in the first half we really did not create anything.

It is time to try something different.
