Vinnie Jones needs a shout in this thread.
Believe it or not, I really WAS there when Doyley scored.

Or he'll come around and knock our lights out....... Without doubt the finest footballer produced by our humble town.

His statistics for Argentina already outweigh those of Ronaldo for Portugual. It was hilarious to hear the Danish fans mock him with chants of Messi and Maradona. They should have also chanted Michael Laudrup.

Iniesta is a better player than him anyway. Players like Pastore match him for talent or indeed outrank him.

COPA is a mickey mouse tournament in comparison to the Euros (the hardest tournament to win until 2016) which he failed to score in 2011 and he hardly set the world alight in the World Cup, a few assists against non-league North Korea and no goals in 2010. Ronaldo consistently scores when it matters at international level and in a team with far less ability than Argentina, similar to his situation at Real where he is surrounded by lesser players than Messi.

Their scoring record at international is the same at a goal every 2.7 games, despite the tougher team that Portugal play. No games against mighty Peru, Costa Rica or Ecuador here!

As I say, great player but still to do it at International level where is matters

    Err he has done it.

And to dismiss the Copa a tournament with a far greater and richer history than the European championships is derisible.

Okay Bolivia are no great shakes but Peru and Costa Rica aren't as bad as you tryand make out. Indeed who gave Spain their toughest battles in the WC ? Chile and tiny little Paraguay. Not that Europe of course is filled by powder puff teams like the mighty Iceland and Cyprus and indeed Norway.

Your Eurocentric tosh is just that. Most of the notable innovations in football were created in South America primarily by Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Total football for a start was created in Argentina by River Plate.

And it was South Korea who've beaten their fair share of European opposition. You are talking utter rubbish. But for the Nigerian keeper having an exceptional game and the woodwork on three occasions he'd have got onto the scoring sheet. Not to mention he at a far younger age than Mr.Change your hair at halftime scored and assisted in WC2006.

Messi's scoring and assists record is superior to him at international level and that despite having two incredibly incompetent managers who's club experience was next to zero.

I think Ozil and company would also be offended by your comments and yet Mr.Selfish tries to pinch goals from them too or launch wild strikes when his team mates are in better positions.

If you actually bothered to look at the statistics Messi scores more without Xavi and Iniesta around but funnily enough when he isn't around as when Spain plays Barcelona score fewer goals and create less.

I don't know if you are an ill informed WUM or just ill informed. When his physical attributes start to fade we'll see how good this Ronaldo is.

Ronaldo always scores when it matters. Against rubbish teams.

People wouldn't have said that if he got the winning penalty last night, at least Ronaldo din't miss unlike someone else against Chelsea...

He was probably thinking I'll take the glorious one to win. A complete nob. Or that his team mates might spare him from taking one. If a penalty had been awarded in normal time he'd be harder to prise from the ball than a limpet.

What a child. Messi took the first penalty against Uruguay in the Copa without hesitation and scored.
