A better version of this was pushed by the club under Vialli.
    Hysterically negative overreaction!

Out of interest I searched for anthems. 'Livin on a prayer' would have been apt more recently...

    Alleged top 25 Rock Anthems:
*1. We Will Rock You - Queen
**2. My Generation - The Who
**3. Rockin' in the Free World- Neil Young
**4. All You Need Is Love - The Beatles
**5. We Are the Champions - Queen
**6. Born in the U.S.A. - Bruce Springsteen
**7. Give Peace A Chance - John Lennon
**8. Born to Be Wild - Steppenwolf
**9. Rock Around The Clock - Bill Haley & His Comets
    10. Rock and Roll Part 2 - Gary Glitter
    11. It's Only Rock N' Roll (But I Like It) - Rolling Stones
    12. Rock N' Roll All Nite - KISS
    13. Cum On Feel The Noize - Slade
    14. Old Time Rock n' Roll - Bob Seger
    15. Another Brick In The Wall, Pt. 2 - Pink Floyd
    16. Highway to Hell - AC/DC
    17. I Love Rock 'n' Roll - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
    18. We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
    19. Shout - Tears for Fears
    20. Back in Black - AC/DC
    21. Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who
    22. Rock and Roll - Led Zeppelin
    23. Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
    24. Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) - Neil Young
    25. Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi

I agree that a club song needs to be something which happens naturally or has some historic significance, but if you want our own version on 'You'll never walk alone' then surely 'Bridge over troubled water' is about as good as you'll ever get.

    Gianfranco Zola,
She'll take it up the bum,
    Gianfranco Zola,
    I'm an ugly **** too.

Apologies, I stole the idea from someone who mentioned this earlier...

I met him in a High Street Pizza chain
Where you drink Peroni but it tastes just like p!ssy cola
    C-o-l-a cola
He looked up at me and I looked down at him
I asked him his name and with his head held high he said
Zola! Z-o-l-a, Zola! Zo Zo Zo Zo Zola. Clap clap clap clap clap clap

People still have no originality when it comes to humour and only find it amusing when someone swears or repeats the word wages over and over ad nauseum?

Pudil's got you in his pocket,
At the back is Tommy Hoban.
Zola's one of the best 'uns,
    He lets us ask questions,
At the forum, for the fans.
Cos where our play comes from is Almen Abdi,
Promotion is our aim this season,
We're the Hornets, not the Bees.
The football Watford play is drivin' me beserk,
The pen-alty area is where Deeney lurks,
    Cha-la-la-lo-bah
    Cha-la-la-la
    Cha-la-la-lo-bah
    Cha-la-la-la.
