What ever happened to......

Watford fans being excited when the club’s linked with other teams players.

Now, it’s all just ‘he’s got a face like a pork scratching, it’s a no from me’ and ‘he’s just a modern day Dominic Foley’ etc............

 

I used to work in the Wimpy Bar as a kid.
I was also the guy dressed up in the Mr Wimpy outfit.
I went down the High Street dressed in it once and went into the Huckleburys Burger Bar and began handing out free Wimpy Burger vouchers.
The old girl who was the manager there grabbed me by the arm, led me to the door and told me quietly to "Feck Off" much to my shock and amusement.
I had a mate who worked in the Retrovision Store just down the road too.
I got kicked out of there dressed as Mr Wimpy.

My dad used to work in the advertising world and got a gig for my brother to be the young boy in the Ponderosa handout leaflet thing that was posted to every address in Watford advertising the joint.
I think he has a copy somewhere.
