    My thoughts on the match

Femenia MOTM. Though almost everyone had a solid match and noone stood out particularly.

My main complaint with britos is if you're going to make a challenge like that, at least make sure you end the ****s career.

Gray is total ****. The club have dropped a huge bollock here. A catastrophic signing in every regard. A nasty homophobic ex scum **** tattooed zlist celeb shagging terd of a man who is terrible at football. He's the living embodiment of everything that is wrong with the modern day footballer. And we broke our transfer record to sign him. I hate him.

Not much else to say. We left around the 60 mins mark.

No worries Dave, you only missed Deeney coming on. We thought you'd just gone for another p*ss. How is your little problem going now?

Well, your thoughts on the first 60 minutes. You left when it was all-square and any one of three outcomes was possible. Don't you like football?

I've read a lot on here about how Brighton will definitely go down, and I've read a lot in the press this weekend about how Brighton will definitely go down. So I'll stick my neck out...

Brighton will not go down, and I'll put money on it. They stopped us playing when 11 v 11 and had the better chances. They were a constant threat throughout, (don't let the 10 v 11 fool you). Once they get their first win they'll be fine, (plus Palace and West Ham are absolutely dire).

Rumoured that nana is prone to the odd rash flying challenge, so might be a bit of a risk:D

They won't go down if there's 3 worse sides than them over the course of the season (obviously) but I'm not sure I see 3 that will be. If Spam or Palarse stay pants for much longer they'll just get a new manager in & throw money at the problem in Jan. And they've both already got far better squads that Brighton. It's a strong division this season with no obvious lame ducks. I hope they stay up but it's gonna be tough.

I have little doubt that if we had kept 11 on the pitch we would have won. Aside from Knockaert they have very little creativity and only intermittent threat. Boro were fine defensively last season but could not score enough goals. They will get turned over alot by one or two goals and that will wear them down. Their recruitment has been pretty disappointing so they need much more than the winger brought on at the end.

Put £100 at 2's against them going down. Waiting to be matched if anyone wants a piece of it.

Next game home to West Brom, where a point would probably be the best they can hope for. Then away to Bournemouth, who visit Arsenal, likely to be on a serious rebound, in the meantime, so an early six pointer and probable loss there. Could be looking at 5/2 or 11/4 by that stage.

I didn't like it on saturday. Why would I stay if I'm not enjoying myself?

The beauty of football is that anything can happen. It's expensive to go, so I'm surprised that if you're willing to spend all that money and interested enough to post frequently on here, you're not sufficiently interested to stay until the end.

If you didn't enjoy this match, how did you manage to last until half time in the matches served up under Florrie and Wally?

I left early a fair few times in those seasons believe me! This is the first time I've done it this season though. The earliest I've ever left in recent times is just after norwich scored their first goal when we lost 3-0 away after going down to 10 men in the first minute. I think it was around the 30 mins mark.

I just dont see the point in sitting through something I'm not enjoying. The fact I've paid a lot of money for it is part of the reason I get up and leave, it seems perverse to pay a lot of money and sit through something you're not enjoying. I know a lot of people disagree and think we should stay and support the boys to the bitter end no matter what, or stay to the end to boo the players off, and I respect that, but do think it's a bit daft considering how terrible some of our matches are.

I was convinced we wouldn't score and so it proved. Of course if we had gone on to win I'd have been even more pissed off, so getting off early is a gamble I admit...

At the beginning of the season, the only team I put in a betting slip to be relegated was Newcastle.

They have a dangerous mix of an overrated manager not used to relegation battles, Championship players and a big club attitude.

Huddersfield I thought would also struggle but seemingly haven't thus far. They have the best manager of the three, but are reliant on Mooy. My prediction is that they will find the second half of the season more difficult than the first, but might scrape over the line.

Brighton were my bet to finish far away from the relegation zone. I don't really rate Hughton, but they are the best run club of the three, and I thought they'd sort out their squad a lot earlier than they have. Their season is reliant on how quickly their signings adjust, but I think they will look a whole lot more resilient and dangerous in a few weeks' time.

My prediction: Brighton 15th, Hudderfield 17th, Newcastle 19th.

I think we were still in second gear 11 against 11 but we still looked fairly dangerous. I honestly cannot see them staying up they were very poor IMO. They simply had no real quality in the side. West Ham and Palace both have far better squads than Brighton and I am sure they will start to pick up some points eventually. If I was you I would keep your wallet in your pocket mate.
